Just fifteen minutes southeast of Philadelphia, Mount Ephraim is a small community where you and your pup can spend time walking to parks and chatting with friends. Although there are no veterinarians in Mount Ephraim, your pup will not need to travel far for his medical needs. There are several qualified clinics just minutes away in Hadden Heights, Camden, and Glendora.

In downtown Mount Ephraim, you and Fido will love the Shining Star Park. The park is located off Harding Drive and borders the Little Timber Creek. You can stroll through the area and admire the gardens, but be sure to keep your pooch on his leash. There are geese hanging out on the creek, and your pup will enjoy sniffing the plants and rolling in the grass.

Another great park where Fido can enjoy a walk is the John Norcross Memorial Park and Playground. The park is dedicated to Law Enforcement Officers and features a great paved walkway where you and your pooch can get some exercise.

If you enjoy taking your pup out for a tasty snack, head over to Philly Pretzel Factory on South Black Hill Pike. You can relax on one of the outdoor benches and eat a pretzel dog while your pooch enjoys a pepperoni pretzel.

When searching for a Fido-friendly destination just minutes from the big city, you and your family will love Mount Ephraim.
