Westville City Limits

Westville is located less than three miles west of Almonesson. Deptford Doggie Park gives your furry family member a place to run off-leash and sniff out a new playmate or two! The dog park features a separately fenced area for the smaller dogs to romp and run, too. Grass is planted throughout the dog park with a few patches of dirt here and there. A spigot makes this dog park extra convenient to visit even in the height of the summer season. Agility equipment, including ramps and tunnels, are positioned in both areas. Waste baggies are supplied by the park.

Chews Landing

A short three miles north of Almonesson is the Timber Creek Dog Park in Blackwood. Nine wooded acres of green grass and leaves await a pup needing to get out and really work those paws! This dog park has only a single fenced space, but it's so big that confrontations between large and smaller pups rarely happen. A double-gated entry provides some extra security. The main park tops a day out with hiking and a lake in which dogs regularly take a cool dip. Don't forget to pack plenty of supplies, including water, waste bags, and a towel if you plan to let Fido swim.

Centennial Blvd

Voorhees is located fourteen miles east of Almonesson. Connolly Dog Park has all of the pawesome fun a four-legged pal could want! This dog park offers pups a field of grass and dirt that is fully fenced for some off-leash running and romping with some other furry pals. The dog park has a separate section so small pups can play safely. Toys such as frisbees and balls add to the opportunities for exercise and antics. Human companions have plenty of shaded benches and picnic tables from which to watch their pups. Water fountains are located within the dog park, and waste stations are stocked with doggie waste baggies for those necessary pick-ups.

Academy Dr/Union Mill Rd

Mount Laurel is located nineteen miles north of Almonesson. Laurel Acres Dog Park gives a pup a chance to say farewell to the leash and exercise in a fully-fenced space. This dog park is divided into two sections. One is set aside for larger dogs and the other is for small dogs. Sweet smellin' grass that will put a tingle in those wet noses makes this an extra special, natural experience. The dog park has a few patches of dirt, so mud can sometimes be a problem. Benches are situated throughout the dog park. Plenty of shade can be found in the large dog section. No water is immediately available.

North Medford

Medford is located twenty miles east of Almonesson. Freedom Dog Park has twenty acres just begging your pup to come and explore! This dog park is not fully fenced, and good voice command behavior is a must. All dogs of every size occupy the park. The property is an expansive tract of woods and fields. A creek cuts through it and gives the dogs a place to cool down on those hot summer days. Leashed pups and their parents can explore the paths through the woods. Numerous benches in the shade give the human companions a relaxing place to sit. A drinking water station accommodates both people and their pups.
