Unlike other dog parks, there are no separate sections for large and small pups, but because Timber Creek is so big, everyone can go off and do their own thing. Outside the fenced area, you'll find a paved loop and nature trails where you and Fido can take a leashed stroll, as well as a small lake that he can swim in.

Head out a couple of miles south from Runnemede to the nearby community of Blackwood, and you'll find the dog-friendly Gloucester Township Health and Fitness Trail. Formerly called the Blackwood Railroad Trail, this paved pedestrian and bicycle path follows the route of an abandoned railroad right-of-way and will lead you and Fido through residential neighborhoods and a wooded area. Along the way, you'll encounter a restored railroad caboose, a playground, and a large athletic complex.
