Hi, I'm Becky! I have lived in Philadelphia for over 15 years. One of my favorite things to do is to explore this awesome city with a dog by my side. I've had dogs and cats my whole life, and don't think I could have it any other way. My current best friend/roommate is George, a 5 year old pit bull/lab mix. I understand that all dogs need discipline and respect, with lots of love and exercise. I'll make sure to always keep all dogs super safe and happy.

I have been walking dogs for 3 years and have been a dog lover my entire life. I grew up with a Standard Poodle named Collette. As an adult, I lived in a house with a lovely brown anxious Aussie. I helped to care for the dog- feeding her, walking her, giving medications, and keeping an eye on her to make sure she stayed out of mischief. We also regularly took in foster dogs of all shapes and sizes. I love getting outside and moving around, so I look forward to meeting and caring for your dog!

“I'm there for your dog as if he/she were my own!”

I've loved dogs my entire life. I strive to be a good dog person, meaning I try to assist friends in training and gladly help out when needed. I have not met a dog I didn't like and vice versa. I have always had dogs of my own and made sure they were trained and socialized.

Dog Walking in Runnemede

Safe, walkable, and family-friendly—these are just some of the things that the residents of Runnemede, New Jersey love about their town. Only 15 minutes away from downtown Philadelphia, the Borough of Runnemede is also a dog-friendly community. While there are no animal hospitals in the area, the nearest one in neighboring Woodbury is less than a couple of miles from the center of town.

Leash up and head down to the Runnemede Dog Park for a fun afternoon with your pooch! Tucked away in a residential neighborhood, the Runnemede Dog Park is a fenced-in, off-leash area with double gates, an obstacle course, and pet waste stations. Visitors say there aren't always other canine friends for their dogs to play with, so if this is the case, get Fido on the agility equipment or do some training instead.

The Green Acres Park is a furrific spot to go for a quiet, leashed walk with your best friend. Also located in a residential area, this park has walking trails, a children's playground, basketball courts, and a soccer field. Enjoy some peaceful quality time with Fido at Green Acres, away from the hustle and bustle of town.

Run to Runnemede for a pawsitively good time with your pup!

Let Fido run and play to his heart's content at the Timber Creek Dog Park in nearby Blackwood! With 9 acres of fenced-in, off-leash space in the woods, this dog park offers more than enough room for pooches of all energy levels to romp and explore. Unlike other dog parks, there are no separate sections for large and small pups, but because Timber Creek is so big, everyone can go off and do their own thing. Outside the fenced area, you'll find a paved loop and nature trails where you and Fido can take a leashed stroll, as well as a small lake that he can swim in.

Let your pup socialize and meet new friends at the Mario Lanza Dog Park in nearby Philadelphia. Despite its relatively small size, this fenced dog park is a favorite among the residents. Running water for the pups and benches for the dog parents are provided. And while there is no grass, the surrounding trees provide adequate shade on hot days. Once Fido's done playing, walk about half a mile to Ox Coffee to enjoy some brewed coffee and local pastries on the bench out front or in the backyard patio. Although, Fido will most likely insist on staying at the front since that's where the dog treats and water bowl are left out.
