The fenced-in park has shady trees and a relaxing atmosphere that help bring nature into the city while giving your pup a chance to play and socialize. This neighborhood also has the Philly Aids Thrift store, which offers clothes at discount prices and allows well-behaved dogs to join you as you shop. You can also try one of several dog-friendly restaurants in Queen Village, like New Wave Café, which serves up good old American favorites.

Washington Square West

Washington Square West is a neighborhood in Philadelphia that sits 9.1 miles away from Camden. This neighborhood is where you’ll find the famous Philadelphia Magic Gardens, an amazing indoor and outdoor art gallery and arts center that allows leashed dogs to join their owners for an unforgettable experience. About 13 miles from Camden is Chews Landing in Blackwood, NJ. The Timber Creek Dog Park is a pawfect place for an outdoor adventure, with nine acres of space, all fenced in. And, there’s even a small lake here that your dog can splash around in to cool off on hot summer days. You can also explore Timber Creek Park with your leashed dog, which has some trails, picnic pavilions, playgrounds, and more. Chews Landing is also the home of the Blackwood Railroad Trail, a part of the Rails-to-Trails Organization.
