Here you can explore the cape, and there are sniff-tastic trails that you can follow through the woodlands. Your canine will love to investigate all of the new scents and sights of nature here! The big trees provide a lot of shade for your panting pup when it is hot and sunny, but be sure to bring some water on your adventure too. In addition, there are some open grassy areas at Forge Point, so don’t forget to bring a ball for a game of fetch!

Brookhaven

Every pup loves a trip to the dog park; so, be sure to head to the puptown of Brookhaven for some fun! Here you will find the pawsome Robinson Duck Farm Dog Run where your pup can bound around off leash. The dog park is all fenced in and is around 2.6 acres, which means your pooch can have a ball. There are separate sections for small pooches and larger canines. Just be sure to bring some water for your panting pup when it is warm and sunny, as well as waste bags to keep the place clean and tidy.

North Bellport

For an adventure with your canine, head on over to the puptown of Bellport! Here you can visit the Model Airplane Park with your furry friend and watch radio controlled aircraft fly. There is a runway here, but there is also lots of green grass for your beloved companion to enjoy when it is sunny. You can enjoy a game of fetch, and plenty of trees provide shade for when it is too hot for your pooch. In addition, there is a viewing area here where there are benches for relaxing with your canine, as well as picnic benches for enjoying a treat.

This puptastic place is home to the Southhaven Country Park where your furry friend can have a great time bounding around on the grass. This beautiful park lets you retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city by following the sniff-tastic trails through the pine-oak forest here. This means there is plenty of shade on hot days, as well as there being furrific amenities that you can use. This includes the oppawtunity to fish, hunt, go on a boat, and camp at the Southhaven Country Park.

Center Moriches Town Center

A puptastic place to go on a trip with your furry friend has got to be to Center Moriches! Here you can visit the puptastic Terrell River County Park with your pooch for some playtime and exercise. This is a beautiful park where you can retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy being in nature. There are sniff-tastic trails through the woodlands here that your beloved companion will love, which are well shaded for hot and sunny days. In addition, you can enjoy views of Moriches Bay and a small beach you can explore with your canine.
