Located slight west of Remsenburg is the puptastic Center Moriches neighborhood in Center Moriches, which offers you and your pup the oppawtunity to get outdoors, stretch your paws, and woof in the fresh Atlantic air at the Terrell River County Park! This park offers pups a furtastic 2.5-3 mile loop from the parking lot all the way to the shore and back. A small water spring for dogs is the pawfect way to cool down while you get to relax on the scenic bench, and watch the bay lap up on the shore. Do check for ticks after your hike, as some dog owners have reported deer ticks in the area.

Country Pointe

The Country Pointe neighborhood in Manorville is a great way to explore the surrounds on foot, err.. paw. The Manorville Hills Trail will help you and your pup accomplish just that! Leash up your pup and pack your bug spray to kickstart this grueling 6.5 mile hike! This is a heavy wilderness area, so it's wise to be familiar with the area, or at least carry a GPS with you to safely navigate the trail. This hike is reserved for only experienced pups, as the terrain can be quite challenging. Summer is a great time to go with your pup if it's not too hot, but beware of pesky ticks and other critters!
