Remsenburg, although is its own community today, used to be a part of Speonk. Speonk has evolved over the centuries, beginning with majorly cattle-owners, then duck farms, and so on. It wasn't until the early 20th century that a Charles Remsen donated a Presbyterian Church, which caused the community to name the area Remsenburg. But that's not all, Remsenburg is so small that no traffic lights are in the town, and quite frankly, it's just easier for everyone to consider it more commonly as part of the pawpular Hamptons.
Nevertheless, while in Remsenburg, you and Fido have the chance to visit the Atlantic Bay at the Speonk Point located at the southern edge of Remsenburg. The walk is scenic and is a great way to stroll mornings or evenings with your pup.
Remsenburg, New York is a wondfurful small community that will be happy to see a furry companion and his human come say hi!
