Small and quaint, the town of Belpre is a residential town less than two hours southeast of Columbus, Ohio. The town is family and pup-friendly, and is a great place to hang out with your pup. Keeping your pooch happy and healthy is easy in Belpre, as there are two qualified veterinarian clinics in town offering routine appointments and emergency medical care.

If you want to spend some quality time with Fido on a beautiful day, head over to the Stones Fort Monument. This building dates back to the 1790’s, and offers a grassy area where your pup can run around and you can read about local history. While walking through the area, you can admire the architecture and beautiful gardens.

Another popular destination for pups and their parents is the Depot Park on Depot Street. You can walk along the paths through the park and let Fido sniff the trees and plants. You will need to bring some doggie waste bags and dispose of trash in the receptacles, and you and your pup can relax on a bench and watch the kids play.

When searching for a great place to raise your two and four-legged children, Belpre is a perfect town with friendly neighbors and dogs.
