I’ve been in love with dogs my whole life, and I’ve rescued quite a few. I’ve gotten to be very good at calming and distracting dogs who get a little bit nervous or unsteady with others or their surroundings. I do my best to know the moves a dog might make before they make them, along with sensing their mood in certain situations so that I’ll always be ready for anything. The most important thing is to know that both you & your best friend can always feel secure in knowing they are safe with me.

“I love every dog!”

I am a stay-at-home dog mom to a lab mix named Stella. I have experience volunteering at animal shelters as well as previous work experience at a doggie day care, and have walked and sat for several of my friends! I have also earned a certificate in Animal Welfare Management from Stautzenberger College. My goal is to be the ‘next best thing’ for your dog when you are not able to be there, and will do my absolute best to make sure your pup is comfortable and happy while in my care.

“Dog’s best friend”

Hello, my name is Michael, I'm a 22-year old graduate of The Ohio State University. I’ve had animals all of my life, and I currently have two dogs and a cat. Having pets has made me a more caring, patient and understanding person, and every second spent with a dog is a precious moment. I’m experienced with both high and low energy dogs as I’ve had puppies and I’ve had dogs as old as 17! I’m excited to become best buds with your pup and go on many more walks with them in the future!

“Treat each dog as if it’s my own.”

I have grown up with dogs my whole life. As a kid, we had 4 dogs. I've always loved playing with dogs and walking them. I have volunteered at shelters to walk dogs. I currently have a Bluetick Coonhound and a Dalmatian with plans to rescue another dog in the future.

I am a recent grad from the University of Michigan! I love animals. I currently own two cats, but I would love to spend more time with dogs. I grew up with three dogs throughout my childhood and my parents trusted me to take care of them at a young age. I have good time-management skills, I communicate as clearly and effectively as I can, and I have a passion for animals and their well-being.

“Animal whisperer; BS Animal Behavior”

Hello, my name is Claire and I LOVE animals! I have my Bachelor's in Zoology with lots of experience with exotic animals, even lions when I was in Africa! I have had animals all of my life (many dogs, many fish, gerbils, and currently two cats) and can't imagine life without them. To save up money for grad school I decided to walk dogs for Wag! I love spending time outside and would love a dog of my own, but my cats would not be happy, making Wag! the perfect fit for me!

I have been a dog lover and owner my entire life. Happily, I am currently the owner of a Dachshund named Rosa and a Border Collie cross puppy named Mia. I have also had a large mutt as my best friend, and currently own a delightful rescue cat named Charlotte. Nothing in my life makes me as happy as sharing time with them, except being with my 18 month old godchild! I love Nature, am an avid gardener, and birdwatcher. Every dog I walk I cherish as if my own for however long we are together.

“Walk or run, let's start the fun!”

As a true pet lover and dog owner myself, you will not be disappointed with my services! I maximize each walk whether that is ensuring the pup gets their potty break in or if it's just for some exercise, my time is dedicated to the pups needs. I treat each pup as my own and am always willing to spend a little extra time to give out belly rubs and love! Boardings within my home are also equally as fun; I have a big fenced in backyard and a large doggie door that gives the pup some extra freedom!

Throughout the meadow, there are plenty of trees that keep the area cool on hot days. The dog run is unfenced, so be sure to keep your pup under voice control while they play. Also, it’s a good idea to bring some water and doggy bags for them. After your dog is finished playing, put them back on their leash and explore Hudson Springs’ two miles of hiking trails.
