St. Ives Blvd
This Hudson neighborhood is home to Hudson Springs Park, which features Hudson’s only off-leash dog run. This small but lovely dog run is located in an open meadow. Throughout the meadow, there are plenty of trees that keep the area cool on hot days. The dog run is unfenced, so be sure to keep your pup under voice control while they play. Also, it’s a good idea to bring some water and doggy bags for them. After your dog is finished playing, put them back on their leash and explore Hudson Springs’ two miles of hiking trails. These trails go around a lake and through the woods, providing furrific views the whole way through.

Both of these trails are three-quarters of a mile long, and they pass by an open meadow, wooded areas, and a stream that has numerous small waterfalls. Bring water and doggy bags for your pup, and have a fun time hiking here! If all that hiking makes you hungry, head over to One Red Door. This chic restaurant welcomes dogs on its outdoor patio. They offer an eclectic menu filled with New American fare, including ahi tuna steaks, pizza, burgers, lobster rolls, and more.

If your pup loves playing in the water, take them over to Bow Wow Beach Park, which is just four miles from Hudson. This 7½-acre dog beach and park is located on the shore of Silver Spring Lake. The whole area is fenced and double-gated to keep your pup safe and secure while they’re swimming and playing. The lake is shallow, making it easy for your dog to swim in. If playing in the water isn’t your dog’s thing, there are also two grassy fields for them to run in. One of these fields is for large dogs and one is for small dogs. If all that playing makes your dog thirsty, doggy water stations are available.
