Dog Areas in Macedonia

Around 24 miles away from one of the largest cities in Ohio -- Cleveland -- you can find the medium-sized city of Macedonia. On the southern side, Macedonia is 19 miles away from Akron, which is the fifth most populated city in Ohio. The geographical position of the city is very convenient for the citizens of Macedonia, who love living in a small town in close proximity to larger metropolitan areas. A few famous people have called this city home at some point, including the lead singer of Foster the People, Mark Foster, and the female boxer Vonda Ward.

Need a pet-friendly place to stay in Macedonia? La Quinta Inn & Suites Cleveland Macedonia, Motel 6 Macedonia, and Knights Inn Macedonia all welcome canine guests. There are a lot of other lodging options in the bigger cities nearby.

Among the pet stores, pet groomers, and pet trainers in Macedonia, there is also a well-equipped veterinary hospital that will tend to your pup in case of accident or emergency. There aren't any dog-friendly restaurants here, but you can find plenty in Cincinnati.

While you're in town, you'd be barking mad to miss Cuyahoga Valley National Park! This large park is just 5 miles away from Macedonia and welcomes leashed dogs to explore with their owners.
