In addition, there is also plenty of space where you can play fetch with your pooch and enjoy some exercise. Other amenities here include a playground for the kids. If you need accommodation when you are in this part of town, stay at the Scottish Inns. This is a furrific place where you can bring one pup weighing up to 20 Ibs for a small additional fee per night.

North Weatherford

For a fun day in the sun with your pooch, head 12 miles east of Clinton to pawsome Weatherford! Here you can visit the furrific Rader Park where your pup can have a ball in the fresh air. There is a sniff-tastic walking trail for some exercise, and you can wander around and take in the views with your canine. There is also lots of open grass for enjoying some playtime, as well as puptastic amenities for all the family. This includes soccer fields, a sandy volleyball court, basketball court, horseshoe pit and pavilions where you can chill out.

Burns Flat

For an adventure with your beloved canine, head 20 miles southwest of Clinton to Burns Flat to the home of the Adams Lake City Park. This is the perfect spot where you can retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city and spend some quality time with your pooch, since there is open grass for playing and lots of trees to investigate. There is also a puptastic walking path around Adams Lake where you can enjoy some exercise on the waterfront. Just be sure to bring some water for your pup when it is hot outside since Adams Lake Park is out in the countryside!

Elk City City Center

If you are looking for new places to bring your furry friend for some exercise and fun, then head on over to Elk City not far away from Clinton! This is where you will find the furrific Colonel Herring Park, which features lots of open green grass. You can practice your canine’s training, as well as bring his or her favorite ball or Frisbee to play fetch. This is right next door to Lions Park where you can go for a wander with your pooch!
