There are sidewalks in the area that you can use for your daily outing with Spot. For a change of pace, take your furry friend to English Garden Park off Canterbury Boulevard. This small community facility has a playground, open space, picnic areas, and benches. Play fetch on the lawn with Spot and share an outdoor snack together. Carry in your own water and waste bags when you come here. As long as your canine companion is on a leash, he can join you.

Hunter Pointe

Hunter Pointe is a newer development with private residences and an apartment complex. There's a neighborhood loop here that offers a lovely little walking route for you and your pooch. When you want to play in the grass with your furry friend, head over to Heritage Way Park behind Gettysburg and Tamarack. There are two sections of open field here where you can work on obedience drills or toss a frisbee with your special pal. You'll need to make sure Fido is appropriately restrained with a leash when you're here. Pack your own water and bags to clean up any droppings.

Ward II

In Ward II, you'll find residential streets, the area high school, and a downtown area. There are blocks in this neighborhood that are good for walking dogs. Learn about southwest Oklahoma by visiting the Museum of the Western Prairie on Memorial Drive. For a stroll through the park with your four-footed pal, head to Hightower Park off North Park Lane. You'll find paved pathways that you and Spot can use for a walk or jog. After you stretch your legs, relax at one of the tables. Keep your fur baby leashed up and be ready to clean up his waste.

S Navajoe St

Around South Navajoe Street, there are single-family dwellings, a primary school, and apartment complexes. From here, it's a short walk to country lanes and farmland. A pawesome place for you to get fresh air and exercise with your canine pal is Cole Heights Park on Katy Drive. This facility has athletic fields, a playground, a picnic area, and grills. Catch a game or play ball with your fur baby in the field behind the parks and recreation building. Remember that Fido needs to be on a leash in this public space. You're responsible for picking up any waste.

Indian Hills

In Indian Hills, there are residential developments, a commercial center, and a state college. Go walking through the neighborhood and grab dinner at the steakhouse on Main Street. In the center of this community, you'll find a quiet little park. Take the family to Indian Hills Park to enjoy a picnic and play time together. There are tables, grills, open space, and a playground here. Play a game of frisbee or fetch on the lawn, then enjoy a cookout together. You'll need to keep Spot under control and on a leash. Pack your own water and some bags to clean up after your pooch.
