Throughout my life my family has owned a dog. I have not known life without one and I'm not sure that's something I want to imagine, dogs have such a deep and unconditional love for us. That's why I've always wanted to work with them because I'm not sure if that would really be a job or not, I just think it would be the most wonderful day to spend a day.

Hi my name is Kandace and I am new to Oklahoma City but not new to animals. I spent almost 20 years in law-enforcement and in my career I was able to work with our canine units. Here in Oklahoma I have fostered a dog and I’ve already volunteered at most of the animal shelters. I am friendly, energetic, mindful and most of all, I communicate with the owners regarding their pet(s). I have two miniature schnauzers that I love with all my heart and choosing me as your walker would be great decision because I know what it takes to love your animals and to take care of your animals. I love to take photographs and videos of your animals while I’m walking them and playing with them. No job is too big or too small and you can count on me because I am very reliable. I hope I get the opportunity to be your dog walker and I thank you very much for reading my bio.

Dog Walking in Yukon

Yukon is a nice, cozy town located on the outskirts of Oklahoma City. It's considered a commuter town for people who work in Oklahoma City but prefer to stay in a less densely populated place. The best part about Yukon is that it's pet-friendly, and home to two off-leash areas as well as pet-friendly hotels, cafes, and three veterinary clinics.

Operated and maintained by Pet&People Humane Society, the dog park at 701 Inva Avenue is an amazing and safe place to bring your pooch for a good run or a set of daily exercises. The park is free to use, but you're welcome to donate some money to support the area for the future! Your pup is welcome to play and sniff out some new friends in one of the fenced areas which are dedicated to small and large pups. There's also an obstacle course here for some training or a little extra fun.

Yukon is home to a really unique dog park. If you've ever traveled long distances with your pooch, you know that it can be hard to find places to stop and stretch your legs. Maybe that's why Yukon's OnCue gas station and convenience store decided to open an 8,000 sq ft. dog park for canine visitors in 2016! This fenced dog park offers a separate area for small pooches, as well as drinking water and agility equipment.

You can find more things to do with Fido just a short drive away in Oklahoma City.
