Yukon is a nice, cozy town located on the outskirts of Oklahoma City. It's considered a commuter town for people who work in Oklahoma City but prefer to stay in a less densely populated place. The best part about Yukon is that it's pet-friendly, and home to two off-leash areas as well as pet-friendly hotels, cafes, and three veterinary clinics.
Operated and maintained by Pet&People Humane Society, the dog park at 701 Inva Avenue is an amazing
and safe place to bring your pooch for a good run or a set of daily exercises.
The park is free to use, but you're welcome to donate some money to support
the area for the future! Your pup is welcome to play and sniff out some new friends in one of the
fenced areas which are dedicated to small and large pups. There's also an obstacle course here for some training or a little extra fun.
Yukon is home to a really unique dog park. If you've ever traveled long distances with your pooch, you know that it can be hard to find places to stop and stretch your legs. Maybe that's why Yukon's OnCue gas station and convenience store decided to open an 8,000 sq ft. dog park for canine visitors in 2016! This fenced dog park offers a separate area for small pooches, as well as drinking water and agility equipment.
