Bricktown

Bricktown is an area of Oklahoma City known for being "industrial-chic," with many trendy stores, restaurants, businesses, and a thriving entertainment district. The best part is it's only a 25-minute drive from Choctaw, and it's right near the Myriad Botanical Gardens Dog Park! The Gardens are one of the most beautiful places in Oklahoma City, and having a dog park within them makes it an even better place. This park also has turfed hills that are pawfect for energetic pups to play and run around on, a water station, and lots of seating to keep humans comfortable, too!

Hall Park

South of Choctaw, in the Hall Park area of Norman, Oklahoma, you'll find the Norman Community Dog Park. It's less than a 40-minute drive from Choctaw, and your dog will be saying "thank you!" every minute of the trip. This two-acre park is divided into a section for big dogs and another for dogs under 30 pounds and senior dogs. Norman Community Dog Park offers visitors doggie bags, seating, and shade. Each year, this dog park hosts a pool party for pooches, so if you're there at the right time of year, you might get to watch your pet attend an epic pool paw-rty!

Northeast Moore

Moore is the seventh largest city in Oklahoma, and it's about a half-hour drive from Choctaw. Northeast Moore is a lovely part of the city, and one of the things that makes it so lovely is the Happy Tails Dog Park. Located within Buck Thomas Park, this two-acre park has everything you and Rover need for a great day at the local dog park. Happy Tails Dog Park has agility equipment, so if you have an adventurous dog, they'll be right at home. There is also drinking water for dogs and humans, restrooms, and a parking lot.

East Reno Avenue

Midwest City, Oklahoma is a breezy 15-minute drive from Choctaw, and this family-friendly city has so much for you to do with your two-legged and four-legged friends! The Fred Quinn Happy Tails Dog Park is three acres of fun, fun, fun for your pups, and you'll both be so glad you went. This dog park is divided into three sections: one for large dogs, one for senior or small dogs, and a third with a concrete water pond where dogs can take a dip. Fred Quinn Dog Park provides plenty of shaded seating, fire hydrants, rinse stations, and a dry-bed creek with bridges.

East 33rd Street

With over four acres of space, the Edmond Dog Park at Bickham-Rudkin Park is a paradise for dogs, and the park has made many efforts to make it a paradise for humans too. Edmond Dog Park is a 33-minute drive from central Choctaw in the city of Edmond, Oklahoma. The park has a separate section just for small dogs to play together, and the rest of the space is a large field where all dogs can socialize and exercise. There is plenty of seating, shady trees, and restrooms for everyone's convenience, and there is even lake access through the dog park so your pooch can take a dip!
