“Vet Tech Student!”

I love dogs!! I have had a female pitbull for 9 years now and loved every minute of it. I have a flexible schedule so I can easily accommodate clients and their routines. I am strong enough to hold back pitbulls and great Danes so, the idea pf walking larger dogs doea not intimidate me at all. I am active and can take your pup for a run if you're looking to get him/her a little more tired out. I am happy to help with your pup!!

I currently have time off from school for 6 months and will be available quite often. I am enrolled at Penn State Hershey to be a doctor, so I have some basic life support training. However, I will be sure to call Wag in an emergency. I hope to have the opportunity to care for your loved one(s) as I would my own!

I am 29 years old and from the DC area. I love dogs and own a 8yr old puggle named Mac. I adopted him from Best Friends Rescue 7yrs ago and it was the best choice I have ever made. Outside of owning a pup, I have also taken care of my friends and family's dogs while they are out in vacation. I am a sucker for the head tilt when you start talking to them (Im pretty sure they understand everything we are saying)!

Dog Walking in Lebanon

Lebanon, Pennsylvania is located in beautiful Dutch country, making it a gorgeous place to spend time with your four-legged companion. Lebanon has just over half a dozen parks and natural areas, all of which welcome on-leash dogs. The Union Canal Tunnel and Park are not to miss, as it contains the oldest tunnel of its’ kind in the U.S. and is a designated historical site. The peaceful park has wide-open spaces for enjoying the sunshine, as well as some nature paths through the woods.

Stover’s Dam Park is another excellent choice if you and your pooch are craving a large play space. Covering 153 acres of parkland, there’s also a 23-acre lake. The fitness trail that circles the lake has several “Fitness Stations” which offer the opportunity to do some heart-pumping exercise. These stations could easily be used as agility training equipment for the extra-energetic pooch!

Looking for a special dog-friendly event? Try the Summer events at Coleman Memorial Park, which range from outdoor concerts to independence day celebrations. Large stables and outbuildings remain on this property, so there’s a lot to explore!

Be sure to visit the Snitz Creek Brewery, which has outdoor dog-friendly seating, weather permitting. The brewery regularly offers twelve beers on tap, including six rotating styles, as well as pub food (featuring the famous Lebanon bologna, of course) and weekly specials.

The rail trail is one of a series that crosses through the area, so keep track of your milage as you go--you still have to walk back! When taking your high energy  dog out for a hike, remember it’s BYOW--bring your own water!

There is a large outdoor picnic table area where dogs are welcome to “chill” out! Additionally, Patches Family Creamery makes their own ice cream base! If you choose a dog-friendly flavor like their classic vanilla, your pup can enjoy a cool treat that’s totally healthy (in moderation, of course.) You don’t have to head to the suburbs to get a dog-friendly dining experience. Mannino's Pizza is a great place to take your dog for a great meal out. Mannino’s welcomes leashed dogs to their outdoor dining tables. They serve classic Italian dishes made from locally grown ingredients, as well as twists on old favorites. Best of all, they’re right in the middle of City Center. This is a great choice if you’re bringing your dog on a full day and want to relax with him! It’s also convenient if you need to fuel up on your way to one of Lebanon’s parks.

South Hills Park in Lebanon South is a great place to go with your dog. The park itself is large, with a variety of areas for human use. Your dog is probably going to love the grassy picnic areas if they’re low energy and love to people watch! The park also has a nice looped trail that can give you and your dog a chance to stretch your legs and get a bit of a workout. The popular park is typically busy, so social dogs will have plenty of people-watching to stimulate their mind! Convenient benches make the walk easy even if it’s been awhile since you hit the trail.

Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area is only twenty minutes from central Lebanon. It’s a short drive with a big payoff, because your dog is going to want to spend all day here! Leash up before heading into the park, as dogs should be kept on leash for the safety of the wildlife (and your best friend). Some of the big draws of the area is the migratory birds, providing a new spectacle in all seasons. Dogs can love exploring the 6,000 acres this park offers, with hiking trails, restful meadows, and water access to cool down and beat the summer heat!
