Quentin

Quentin

Quentin in Lebanon is home to the Lebanon Valley Rail Trail. This multi-use park and pathway is a converted rail line. Now you and your dog can explore where freight trains used to roar through Lebanon! There is a parking lot with access to the trail. From there, pick your direction and walk as far as you’d like! The rail trail is one of a series that crosses through the area, so keep track of your milage as you go--you still have to walk back! When taking your high energy  dog out for a hike, remember it’s BYOW--bring your own water!

Patches Family Creamery is an ice cream and dairy store with some dog-friendly products! First, feel free to bring your dog with you for a sweet treat! There is a large outdoor picnic table area where dogs are welcome to “chill” out! Additionally, Patches Family Creamery makes their own ice cream base! If you choose a dog-friendly flavor like their classic vanilla, your pup can enjoy a cool treat that’s totally healthy (in moderation, of course.) The creamery also sells ice cream, butter, and milk in take-home portions. Pick some up if you can’t get enough of this sweet treat!

City Center

City Center

You don’t have to head to the suburbs to get a dog-friendly dining experience. Mannino's Pizza is a great place to take your dog for a great meal out. Mannino’s welcomes leashed dogs to their outdoor dining tables. They serve classic Italian dishes made from locally grown ingredients, as well as twists on old favorites. Best of all, they’re right in the middle of City Center. This is a great choice if you’re bringing your dog on a full day and want to relax with him! It’s also convenient if you need to fuel up on your way to one of Lebanon’s parks.

Lebanon South

Lebanon South

South Hills Park in Lebanon South is a great place to go with your dog. The park itself is large, with a variety of areas for human use. Your dog is probably going to love the grassy picnic areas if they’re low energy and love to people watch! The park also has a nice looped trail that can give you and your dog a chance to stretch your legs and get a bit of a workout. The popular park is typically busy, so social dogs will have plenty of people-watching to stimulate their mind! Convenient benches make the walk easy even if it’s been awhile since you hit the trail.
Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area

Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area

Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area is only twenty minutes from central Lebanon. It’s a short drive with a big payoff, because your dog is going to want to spend all day here! Leash up before heading into the park, as dogs should be kept on leash for the safety of the wildlife (and your best friend). Some of the big draws of the area is the migratory birds, providing a new spectacle in all seasons. Dogs can love exploring the 6,000 acres this park offers, with hiking trails, restful meadows, and water access to cool down and beat the summer heat!
