My name is Jackson. I am 28 years old and live in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Growing up I had a wire-haired Viszla named Max who was always at my side throughout my childhood. Recently, I've been taking care of a my friends' Jack Rustle Terrier and Rottweiler when they go away. They trust me to care for their pets after they see how well I interact with them. I get along great with all animals I've encountered, but it's no secret I love dogs the most.

Hey there, I'm Carissa! I've got two lovely dogs of my own who recently took the long journey with me to start a new life in the area. One dog is from California, the other is from Washington, and we spent many years living in Oregon. With that being said, I believe my animal experience is taken with much comfort, respect, and love. Change is a challenge, but I have what it takes to cater to needs. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and ages and absolutely love meeting new ones. I am a very active person who hikes, does yoga, and meditates daily. I will make sure your pup is taking care of and the experience is as positive as possible!

I am a fun and friendly dog lover. I've had dogs for pets my entire life. My last 2 dogs were rescues. This prompted me to take and complete a dog training and behavior class. I can help break up your dog's day by getting them outside for fresh air, exercise and potty breaks.

“Dogs make this crazy world manageable.”
Dogs have always been very special to me. Before I moved, I couldn’t have a dog where I lived , so I joined Wag to have an opportunity to spend time with other people’s dogs! Now that I have moved to my forever home, I have adopted a puppy named Rosie! I have a degree in Animal Science and have owned several dogs in my lifetime, including a 155lb. Black Russian Terrier named Biggie. I’ve had dog training classes where I learned commands and safety measures. I can’t wait to meet your dog!

Check out the Lake Nockamixon Area Trail if you want to spend a good chunk of your day outdoors! This 5 mile loop path welcomes leashed dogs and provides amazing views of the water. You can also look to Perkiomen Creek Trail for a challenge--this loop is almost seven miles long!
If you want to enjoy the great outdoors, but don't want to commit your day to a hike, there are plenty of parks in Perkasie to explore instead. The Perkasie Skate Park is a great park if you're looking just to work off some of your dog's energy! Walk your dog on the grassy edges of the park for a conveniently located workout. Split the difference with the Three Mile Run Boat Access area. You have the beauty of nature that comes from a hike, coupled with the convenience of going to one of Perkasie's urban parks.
Explore Perkasie with your pup today!
Blooming Glen Park is the light of the residential community of Blooming Glen. This small park has the basics that anyone needs to enjoy their neighborhood. The basketball courts bring in kids after school and on weekends, but they won't impress Fido. Your dog is going to love the open meadows instead. Blooming Glen Park has a wide lawn that ends at a tree lined field. You can walk the perimeter and let your dog follow their nose through the tall grass. You could also skirt the playground and settle down for lunch on the benches. If your pup is shy, skip this park on the weekends or after school gets out!
Hilltown Township Park is a huge open space! The focus of the main park is sports, sports, sports. There's a full sized soccer pitch and a full sized baseball diamond! Playground equopment and two basketball courts are sandwiched in between. The entire park is surrounded by a paved walking path that makes wracking up steps with your pup a breeze. If full laps are a bit much for you or your dog's puppy paws, don't worry about it. The park also has a path down the middle, so you can easily walk just half of this huge loop for a more managable walk.
There are two parks that make Downtown Perkasie a great place to explore with your dog. Kulp Park's wooded walking paths are a big hit with dogs. You'll feel like you're way out in the woods even when you're just a few hundred yards from the four tennis courts, baseball diamond, or playground. Perkasie Park is another option in the neighborhood. If you want to skip the crowds and go to a completely preserved natural area, this is the place. The simple paths wind through trees, and without other amenities, this park tends to be a restful and quiet place to walk your dog.
Lenape Park is a small, family oriented park that features picnic tables and open green space for meals and entertaining. The gazebo in the center of the park can be a great backdrop for photos! Most dogs, however, will prefer to head just down the road to Perkasie Dog Park! This large, completely fenced in field is a pupular destination! Your dog can run off leash to meet new friends and explore the area! The field itself is plain. You should bring a toy with you in case your pup doesn't make a friend. A doggie bowl and water is also recommended.
Marley Park is a simple park in North Perkasie. It's worth a visit if you're in the area. Though the park does have a playground, baseball diamond, and soccer field, most of the park is just open space. When it's not in use for a pickup game of soccer, it's ripe for exploration! A high energy dog will love jogging with you down Marley Park's dirt paths. If you don't feel like tackling all the space in Marley Park, you can still stretch your dog's legs with a trip around the inner circle of the park. There's plenty to see even close to the parking lot!
