There's also amazing views of the water, and plenty of photo opportunities! Bring your supplies in with you, as this large park is very natural.

North Sunbury

Memorial Park in North Sunbury is a great location to please a diverse crowd. Some people will love the large baseball diamond. While there are larger parks with more amenities in other neighborhoods, Cameron Park is a staple of Downtown Sunbury.

Riverfront

Sunbury Riverfront Park is a simple park right on the river. The boat launch is a popular spot, and if you want an interesting view while you walk your dog, head down there. With boats going in and out of the water, there's almost always something interesting afoot! Bask in the beauty of the area, and get your dog's exercise in at the same time! This park is a simple destination. It's light on amenities, so bring everything with you that you think you're going to need. A picnic blanket, some water, and a doggie bowl to share it in will make this a pawsome destination.

Western Sunbury

Kiwanis Playground is a small park that backs onto a creek. The park is known for its playground, but there's a lot more going on here than just that! There's also a basketball court, and a small sports field. When it's not in use, this open grassy area is perfect for letting your dog feel the grass between their toes! Skirt the restrooms to head into the tree-lined creekside. Common usage has worn a small path down to the water. Sadly, dogs have to be leashed in the park, so wading isn't much of an option. Still, it's a beautiful place to explore in Sunbury.
