That includes dogs and dog owners as East Harrington is home to Happy Tails Dog Park. This two-acre park has a five-foot fence surrounding it with separate sections for dogs of different sizes, as well as a double-gated entry system to ensure your dog can't run away. Visitors love that there is so much space, seating when it's time to take a break, and plenty of waste bins to keep the park clean.

The Northern Tier area of Harrisburg is located on the outskirts of the city. It is home to many thriving industries in the city, including healthcare, retail, and construction. Wildwood Park is located in this area, and it's a beautiful place to go on a nature walk with your dog. This park has a paved path that stretches about three miles, and your dog is welcome to join you provided he is on a leash. This 20-mile trail takes you through beautiful parts of Harrisburg whether you're on two feet, four feet, or two wheels. The trail was once a railway line but it was reclaimed as a trail, and it connects to a network of trails that spans across America. Your trip will take you to different parks, wooded areas, and gardens in Harrisburg and both you and Rover are sure to love it.

This massive park has several acres for your dog to explore and it even has three separate sections for dogs of different sizes to interact and play safely together. There are also walking trails around the park, waste bags, and water fountains for thirsty pups. There are plenty of trees for sniffing or for providing shade, and the park is closely patrolled to make sure everyone is safe and having a great time.
