Harbison - Columbia

Although the Harbison neighborhood is listed as being in Columbia, locals say it’s really a part of Irmo, located just outside city limits. But wherever it is, it certainly has plenty of places for you to dine with your fur-iend! If you’re craving delicious deli sandwiches, check out McAlister’s Deli, which offers plenty of dog-friendly patio seating. They even have goodies for your four-legged friend! In the mood for a burger? Check out Five Guys, which has dog-friendly seating. It’s conveniently located right next to Coldstone Creamery, should you want a sweet treat. Leashes are required.

Earlewood

Columbia’s Earlewood neighborhood, about fifteen minutes from Irmo, is home to NOMA (short for North Main, as that’s the street it’s on) Bark Park. Although this park does have a small annual fee, which is currently $25, there are some bonus perks for what you pay. The park provides a few different sorts of toys for your canine companion to play with. There are separate sections for large and small dogs, meaning your dog can stay safe while playing. There’s plenty of seating for you, as well. This is an off-leash, fenced-in dog park.

Saluda Shoals - Columbia

Located about ten minutes outside of Irmo is Columbia’s Saluda Shoals neighborhood, where you’ll find Saluda Shoals Barking Lot! Found inside of Saluda Shoals Park, Saluda Shoals Barking Lot is a separate, fenced-in area where your dog can have some serious fun off of his leash. Your pooch will get to run around and make new friends while burning off any excess energy. You’ll want to bring along waste disposal bags and water, as these aren't provided for either you or your dog. Have a ball at Saluda Shoals Barking Lot!

Main Street District

Want to go shopping and want your pooch to come with you? Or maybe you’re feeling hungry and want to grab a bite to eat while spending time with your best fur-iend! Either way, Columbia’s Main Street District, located about ten minutes from Irmo, is the place to be! Swing by Mast General Store, where they sell just about anything you could imagine, from clothes to candy to toys. Your dog can join you as long as he’s on his leash. If you want to grab a bite to eat, head across the street to either Good Life Café or Michael’s Café and Catering. Both serve up delicious food and have outdoor patios so Fido join you.

Bower Parkway - Columbia

Located just outside Irmo city limits is Columbia’s Bower Parkway neighborhood, where you’ll find plenty of places to be a chow hound with your favorite hound dog. Want something sweet? Swing by Marble Slab to pick up a frozen treat on a hot day. If you’re craving some classic pub food, visit British Bulldog Pub, which serves up fish and chips alongside delicious wings and burgers. British Bulldog has a spacious outdoor patio where Fido can join you, as long as he stays on a leash and is on his best behavior!
