Sarah is awesome! I have never had such a good walker and was good with my dogs. She also has been helping me train my dog that loves squirrels to not chase them. I don t know what I would ve done without her. She also most importantly is more dependable than any dog walker I have had. She shows up and she shows up on time! Go Sarah!

Mill Village
The historic neighborhood of Mill Village, located on the outer edge of West Columbia, is home to Café Strudel, and if you’re looking for somewhere good to dine with your dog, you’ve found the place! Café Strudel serves up a delicious variety of food, including a dish called the “Hangover Hashbrowns,” which are covered in cheese, peppers, tomatoes, and more. If you’re not feeling that adventurous, they also serve up delicious wraps and omelettes. The best part, though, is that your dog is welcome to join you at one of their outdoor tables! Fido needs to be on his best behavior, though, and a leash is required at all times.
Earlewood
Earlewood

NOMA – which is short for North Main – Dog Park has separate areas for large and small dogs, allowing your dog to play it safe when it comes to making new friends. They also provide tennis balls for your four-legged friend to play with, and there are even waste-disposal stations in the park. For dog parents, there are plenty of benches to sit on. This is an off-leash park.
Five Points
Five Points
Just ten minutes from West Columbia is Columbia’s Five Points neighborhood, and while locals boast that this neighborhood is for college students, your dog will have a lot of fun, too! Five Points is home to Emily Douglas Dog Park. This free, off-leash dog park has plenty of room for your pooch to run around and make some pawesome new friends! There’s plenty of seating in the shade for dog parents, and there’s water for your dog in case he gets overheated. This is the area’s only free dog park, so it tends to be very busy.
Main Street District

Just make sure your best pal is on a leash!

Cupcake, a local gourmet cupcake shop, serves up a wide variety of its namesake, and your dog can join you on the bakery’s outdoor patio. If you’re looking to enjoy a cold one, head to the Flying Saucer Draught Emporium. This local-favorite has all your favorite beers on tap, alongside some lesser-known options and delectable wings. Your dog can join you on the spacious porch; just make sure to bring a leash.
