There's not too many trees to help with shade, so make sure to bring plenty of water with you to keep both of you hydrated. The Preseton Blackmon Park nearby is a 7-acre area that includes a softball field, basketball courts, a playground, swing set, and picnic areas where the two of you can enjoy a nice meal together.

The park has tons of trees to help provide shade for you and your pup while you wander around it. There are plenty of trees as well, so you and Fido can stay shaded while you explore. The park is located right next to Bear Creek, so maybe Fido can even sneak a dip into the creek.
