The Jack Carter Dog Park in central Plano, Texas is just over 20 miles from Celina. This spectacular two-acre dog park includes areas for big and small dogs to play with dogs their own size, and both entrances are double-gated as an added safety measure. There are water fountains for dogs and humans, benches, and shade, and during the summer months, there are dog wash stations, too! There's LED lighting installed in the park if you're visiting later in the day, and the park closes at 9:30 PM each day. From sunrise to 4 PM on Thursdays, the park is closed for maintenance.

Railroad Street

The Railroad Dog Park in Lewisville, Texas is about 30 miles from Celina. This pawesome park has three separate sections. Two of the sections totaling around five acres are rotated as big dog sections to allow the grass to regrow. The third section is reserved for little dogs, and it's about an acre in size. There are water fountains and waste disposal supplies available in the dog park, and there's also some super fun agility equipment for adventurous dogs to play on. There are shade structures in the park which are a saving grace on hot days, and if you visit later in the day, you'll be pleased to know there's lighting in the park, too.

Southeast Denton

The Wiggly Field Dog Park in Lake Forest Park in southeast Denton, Texas is about 30 miles from Celina. One section of the dog park is reserved for dogs weighing more than 30 pounds, and another section is enclosed for small dogs. There are water fountains, waste disposal stations, seating, and shade available at Wiggly Field. The park is open daily from sunrise to sunset, but on Wednesdays from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, it's closed for maintenance. There are several trails surrounding the park, and your dog can join you for a walk on these as long as they remain on a leash.

Northeast Allen

Northeast Allen, Texas is home to the Canine Commons Dog Park, and this puppy paradise is about 30 miles from Celina. Canine Commons is in the center of a popular shopping area, and it includes a section for dogs over 20 pounds, as well as a section just for the little guys. The surface of the park primarily consists of mulch, and this helps keep the space clean. There are also waste disposal supplies provided by the park, as well as water fountains for dogs. If your dog happens to get a little messy during your visit to the dog park, there's a doggy salon just down the street!

Central McKinney

Bonnie Wenk Park in central McKinney, Texas, is a 26-acre area with a five-acre lake and plenty of activities for you and your family to enjoy. There are a few different walking, hiking, and biking trails, as well as an amphitheater, and a two-acre dog park! This off-leash dog park has big and small dog sections, and as an added touch, there's even a splash pad just for dogs! This is the pawfect way for dogs to cool off on hot days, and unless McKinney reaches freezing temperatures, the water is running. There's a 0.44-mile walking loop in the dog park, and it joins up with other trails in the park. There's fresh drinking water available for dogs, and the park is open from dawn to 11 PM each day.
