Dog Areas in Celina

1 Eatery

Celina is a city in Texas that more than 8,000 people call home, and since the early 2000s, it's been undergoing rapid expansion. Today, Celina still has a small-town feel, but it comes complete with plenty of big-city amenities. If you're a dog owner, you'll love walking the streets of Celina with your pet, and the warm Texas weather means it's always a good time to do something outside with your pooch! Celina doesn't have its own off-leash park, but you'll find lots of places in town to go for a walk on a leash, and a great off-leash park is always just a short drive away.

The Ruff Range Dog Park in southwest Frisco, Texas is a little more than 15 miles from Celina. This 2.5-acre off-leash space is part of B.F. Phillips Community Park, and it includes a section for dogs over 25 pounds, as well as an area for smaller dogs. There are water bowls and waste stations throughout the park, and there are also kiddie pools set up on especially hot days so dogs can take a dip. The park is open every day from sunrise to sunset, except Thursdays when it's closed for maintenance. But if you're planning on visiting a dog park on a Thursday, don't worry, because there are several more nearby!
