Located only nine miles out of Wylie in Plano, your pup will have a great time exploring this park and its awesome trail.

The Olde City Park offers a playground, pavilion/ gazebo, and veteran's memorial for you and Fido to explore while hanging out in Wylie. There is a nice walking trail around the playground where you and Fido can get a few steps in before continuing on with your day. Stop into the Conversations Coffee Bar and grab a cup of Joe while enjoying a nice outing with Fido. If Fido is a little hungry, then check out Golden Chick which specializes in tasty chicken dishes. Maxwell Creek

Head into Murphy if you and Fido start to get a little hungry and are looking for a great place to dine. The Foxiis Restaurant and Grill has a warm atmosphere with a classic bar and grill menu. They dish out tasty bites like stuffed jalapenos and buffalo chicken sliders. After a delicious meal, make sure to head to the Waters Edge Park to get a good walk in with Fido. The park features multiple soccer fields and a great walking path that takes you right by a creek. If you're looking for a slightly bigger park, head over to the Murphy Center Park. This pawsome area hosts PSA games and tournaments, so at times it can get busy. When the park is less crowded, it offers a great walking trail, splash pad, tons of grass, and a playground.

If Fido wants to do a little more exploring, then venture into Shawnee Park and enjoy all the great amenities. The park offers a small lake, fishing pier, sports fields, and a playground.
