Sachse, Texas is a suburb of northeastern Dallas with a population of over 25,000 people. In 1856, William Sachse arrived in Texas and acquired 640 acres of what would eventually become Sachse. In 1956, Sachse was incorporated, and it has become a great place to live and work. Sachse has great parks and recreational facilities, and many of these places are dog-friendly as long as you keep Fido on a leash. There are veterinary offices within Sachse, and dozens more when you spread out into Dallas.

East Sachse is home to Salmon Park, a seven-acre park with so much to do for the whole family! While it doesn't have a designated off-leash area, your dog can join you in most parts of the park as long as they stay on a leash. Salmon Park has a basketball court, a lighted baseball field, sports practice field, playgrounds, picnic facilities, parking, and more! Sachse takes great pride in their community areas, and outdoor activities are always encouraged. Luckily, the warm Texas climate makes it an ideal place for adventuring with your dog, and you'll never run out of paths to walk with your dog here! Your canine companion is sure to find many plants, people, and places to sniff out on their adventures in Sachse!
