Christoval
Christoval is a small community, but there is still plenty of space for your family to grow! Families with dogs love to visit the Pugh River Park. You should bring plenty of waste bags so that you can help keep the area clean. There are plenty of walking paths, so you may want to put a harness on your dog for easy walking. Tennis balls are always a great idea! There is also a local RV park as well, which is great for a staycation in your camper with nothing but your thoughts and your best bud with you for the ride.36

San Angelo State Park
The San Angelo State Park is a pawesome place for the whole family located just thirty minutes to the north of Christoval. You can head up to this park on a weekend morning and go for a hike with your best bud with a good harness and leash between you. Make sure you have plenty of water for the trek and, of course, some healthy snacks for both of you! The OC Fisher Lake is right on the edge of the park and is a simply gorgeous scene to check out on your way through. You may want some towels on hand or back in your car!24

Glenmore
Glenmore is a pleasant residential neighborhood in San Angelo, just twenty-five minutes from Christoval. Glenmore Park is right in the center of the community. It is popular with dog walkers who are looking for a place to stretch those legs and throw around a tennis ball or two. You can visit this lovely little park with your dog after a long day at work and spend some quality time together on a blanket in the grass, reading a book or rolling around and chasing after all of those tennis balls or chew toys.
