Lexington Woods
Located on the east side of Spring, the Lexington Woods neighborhood is home to the pawsome Pundt Park. This large family park features a large fenced-in dog park with individual areas for small and large dogs. There is plenty of room for rambunctious pups to run and several trails to explore. Concrete wash stations make cleanup a breeze, and sitting benches provide areas for pet parents to relax and take in the action. All dogs visiting the park must be licensed, and their vaccinations must be current. Cleanup bags are provided.

Spring Trails
The Spring Trails neighborhood has a truly amazing place to explore with your canine companion: Spring Trails Preserve. This breathtaking nature preserve spans more than 12,500 acres and includes wetlands, prairies, rivers and bayous. It is one of the most successful preserves in the state of Texas, and whether you are a local or just passing through, it is definitely worth a visit. There are several trails that are perfect for hiking, and leashed dogs are always welcome to accompany their owners. Remember to pick up after your pet to help keep this natural treasure nice and clean for other visitors.

Bending Bough
Head to Spring’s Bending Bough neighborhood when you are looking for a place to eat. If you’re in the mood for Mexican, check out Las Cascadas Mexican. This local favorite serves up all your favorite south-of-the-border favorites and has two doggy friendly outdoor tables. For taste bud-tantalizing American fare and sweet treats, check out Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers. Smashburger is also a great choice, and they even serve a dog-friendly burger. Need a place to stay? Bending Bough is also home to the dog-friendly Motel 6 Houston North Spring. Pets of any size are welcome to stay with their parents at no additional charge.

Grogan's Mill
Located just over six miles northwest of Spring, the Grogan’s Mill neighborhood in The Woodlands is worth the trip when you want to give your canine a tail-waggin’ great day. Stop by Tamarac Dog Park to give your pup some off-leash fun and let him make some new friends. This fully fenced park offers plenty of shade and water fountains to help your hound cool off on hot summer days. There is a large pavilion with tables and benches for pet parents. This dog park is even located close to a children’s playground, so there is plenty of room for your kids to play, too.

Summerwood
If you are feeling up to a little road trip, head to Houston’s Summerwood neighborhood and check out Alexander Deussen Dog Park. This dog park is fully fenced and features separate areas for big dogs and smaller pups. There is a paved path as well as plenty of open space for a thrilling game of fetch. If you would prefer to relax and take in all the action, there are also several benches. Drinking water is available for both people and pets. The park also features an agility course and a place to hose your dog off at the end of the day.
