American Villa
If you're in American Fork and you're in need of a park where your pup can stretch his paws, there is a perfect place for you around 18 miles away from American Fork. In the American Villa neighborhood of Sandy, you'll find the Sandy Dog Park. This park is a one-acre, properly fenced park with plenty of trees for shade, as well as benches for dog owners, a walking trail, and boulders for sitting. The park includes a water fountain, but it's turned off during the winter, so bring some water if you're visiting the park in winter. There is grass in one area of the park, and there are no separate zones for small and large dogs.36

West Jordan
A little bit further away from American Fork is a really beautiful park that will make your trip worthwhile. Around 27 miles northwest of American Fork, you'll find the West Jordan Dog Park in West Jordan. This park is a fully fenced, 3-acre park where your fur buddy can run off-leash and socialize with other pawesome friends. The park has three areas; one is for small dogs and the other two are for large dogs. The park also offers benches, water spigots and waste bags. If you need a place to stay in West Jordan, feel free to visit the My Place Hotel where dogs are welcome. Large dogs are allowed in the rooms, but there is a pet fee for pups of all sizes.24

Provost South
Around 17 miles south of American Fork, down by the Utah Lake, you'll find the quaint city of Provo, where the Bicentennial Dog Park is located. It's the city's first off-leash dog park that ensures every dog's safety by having a double-fenced entry. Moreover, it includes doggie waste stations, and a fire hydrant where you can have lots of fun with your four-legged friend in the summer heat. It also has a sand pit for digging, as well as grass and shade trees. There are benches available for humans to look over their beloved pets.12

Woodhaven Village
The Millrace Park is located in Taylorsville, 24 miles away from American Fork. Dogs can explore this park on-leash. The on-site dog park allows only licensed and vaccinated puppers into the park. You must pick up after your dog, and if your dog tends to get aggressive or rough, he won't be allowed into the park. Male dogs under 4 months are not allowed, as well as female dogs in heat. Your dog can't be left unattended, and it must be supervised by a person over the age of 12. Furthermore, food is not allowed in the park, whether it's the dog or human variety. The rules are in place to make sure all dogs stay safe and sound while they play!
