“Your furry friend is in good hands with me!”

I have been caring for a variety of animals most of my life. I always had cats and dogs growing up. From a young age I learned how to care for animals and be responsible for them. I now have two big doggos of my own, mixed breeds. My boyfriend and I try to take them on daily walks and hikes. I am comfortable dealing with different breeds and sizes! I’ll always treat your dog like my own. Just know when your furry friend is with me they are in good hands!

“Making it as easy as PAW-ssible”

Hello! My name is Amanda, and people call me the dog whisperer. I have been surrounded by dogs (both mine and my friends/family) my whole life, and feel I develop a unique and special bond with each one. I have two pups right now, and our favorite thing to do is going for hikes together. There's also a dog trail nearby that is always so fun to meet new puppy pals at. I have worked in a veterinary clinic, volunteered at animal shelters, and have even worked with horses. Animals are one of my many passions, and I look forward to meeting you and your pup/s.

Dog Walking in American Fork

American Fork -- or, as locals refer to it, A.F -- is a city in Utah County north of Utah Lake with a population of 28,326. The city has three veterinary clinics in case you need to access veterinary services during your stay.

If you need a place to spend the night in American Fork, you can reach out to Holiday Inn Express American Fork, which will accompany more than 2 big dogs for a fee. Want to skip the pet fee? Check out American Fork AirBnB rentals. Some of them are pet-friendly, but pet policies vary based on the host's preferences.

If you're in American Fork, you must visit one of the most famous trails in Utah County: Timpooneke Trail. This trail takes you to the top of the Mount Timpanogos. It's almost 15 miles long and it might be hard for inexperienced hikers. But you don't need to go all the way to the top; you can still enjoy the trail even if you only hike a section. Your dog is welcome to come with you, but you'll need to bring lots of water and snacks for your fur baby. Depending on the time of the year, there might be snow or ice on the trail, so you should be aware of that and go prepared.
