The Jordan River Parkway is a trail system that follows the Jordan River right through the center of the Salt Lake Valley. Head over to one of the trail's access points in the Chavez Drive and 1300 West neighborhood. Hop on the trail with your leashed pooch and enjoy a delightful waterfront walk. The trail runs 3.5 miles through South Jordan, then extends into neighboring cities. If you have an athletic pup, you can go as long as her four legs hold out. The 4800 South and St. Andrews Drive neighborhood is home to the Bingham Creek Trailhead. This is a puptastic trail for a little doggy cardio. The paved walkway runs about a mile and a half and follows a dry creek. Your pup will love sniffing the nearby shrubbery and may even come across a new favorite stick. There is not much shade, so make sure your four legged friend has enough water.
