Just 15 minutes south of Salt Lake City, Taylorsville is a great option for pups and their parents to enjoy the convenience of the city and the friendly neighborhood atmosphere of the suburbs. When your pooch needs to spend some time outdoors, head over to the Gary C. Swenson Valley Regional Park. The large park offers a grassy area where your pooch can romp and roll, and several athletic courts where the kids can play. After walking laps around the park, take a break on one of the shaded benches and watch the kids on the playground. The disc golf course is also a popular feature, so be sure to keep Fido on his leash.

Keeping fit is important for both canine’s and their parents. Walking around town and spending time at the parks gives your pooch a chance to socialize and exercise. When it’s time for Fido’s yearly check-ups, there are three veterinarian clinics in Taylorsville. They are available for emergency and routine appointments, and will take great care of your furry family member.

You don’t need to leave your pooch at home when planning a night out with the family. Head over to Cubby’s Chicago Beef for a variety of creative dishes like the cockadoodledoo sandwiches, Dragonslayer burger, and a variety of desserts. Your pooch is welcome to join you at the outdoor tables. Another option is Wing Nutz where you can order some quality wings and a drink and sit on the outdoor patio with your pup and friends.

With many pup friendly options in Taylorsville, you and your furry family member will always feel welcome!
