“Your furry friend is in good hands with me!”

I have been caring for a variety of animals most of my life. I always had cats and dogs growing up. From a young age I learned how to care for animals and be responsible for them. I now have two big doggos of my own, mixed breeds. My boyfriend and I try to take them on daily walks and hikes. I am comfortable dealing with different breeds and sizes! I’ll always treat your dog like my own. Just know when your furry friend is with me they are in good hands!

Hello, I'm an animal lover and for years had been registered on Care. com offering my services and care to animals. I was short and long term caretaker that included both walking and bordering. I found those activities rewarding and would be glad to get involved again. You precious pooch will be in good hands!

Over the past 25 years, I have had three dogs and many memories. My dog of 13 years recently died at the age of 15 and I miss our frequent walks, so have been dogsitting for friends. I've enjoyed it so much that I'm branching out to Wag. I am in my mid-50s, work from home as a writer and editor, and really enjoy getting away from the blinking computer screen. I can assure you that I have the maturity and experience to handle any situation involving your dog and am reliable and trustworthy.

Dog Walking in West Valley City

West Valley City sits on the northwest side of the Salt Lake Valley. It’s Utah’s second largest city and is conveniently located to the famed Wasatch Mountains. With 27 parks spread across city boundaries, it’s no wonder that pups living in this town consider themselves lucky dogs.

Decker Lake sits on the east side of West Valley City. A 1.3 mile trail loops around the lake and provides a pawsome walk through a wetland environment. Your pup will love being surrounded by reeds, cattails, and other tall grasses. The trailhead has grass and some young trees. After your walk, take a minute to catch your breath on one of the benches. Geese, ducks, and other birds call this place home. Be sure to keep your pup on leash so he doesn’t disturb these winged creatures.

When you are in West Valley City, you can take comfort knowing that your fur baby has access to high quality veterinary care. The doctors at West Valley Veterinary Clinic are ready to remedy whatever ails your pup. They offer a host of services including dental care, wellness exams, dietary consultations, even acupuncture. Banfield Animal Hospital is another pupperific veterinary option. In addition to preventative care, they have emergency and general surgical services.
