The area sits east of Salt Lake City and has a few dog-friendly hotels to stay in if you’re passing through. You can also take your dog to Mill Creek Canyon, which allows dogs with a few rules in place: Even-numbered days means dogs must be leashed, but they can go off-leash in special areas on odd-numbered days to explore trails, cliffs, creeks, and more. Canyon Rim
Canyon Rim in Millcreek, UT, is about 2.5 miles away from Woodridge Terrace. This area is the perfect spot to enjoy the beautiful landscape that Millcreek has to offer at Parley’s Nature Reserve. Leashed dogs are allowed throughout the preserve, and there are a few designated areas to let him run off his leash. The nearby Tanner Park is about as close as you can get to a dog park without officially being named one.
