Taylorsville is 18 miles south of Bountiful. Millrace Off-Leash Dog Park is located at 1200 W. 5400 S. This dog park has a large grassy fully fenced enclosure for dogs to play and socialize. There is a separate area for small dogs. The dog park has water fountains designed for dogs and their people. Pieces of agility equipment give pups variety in their exercise. Doggie waste bags are supplied by the dog park. The main park has 20 acres and includes walking paths and a large pond. Picnic sites and sheltered areas provide some pleasant opportunities for a person to enjoy the outdoors with a pup.

Roy

Roy is 22 miles north of Bountiful. Roy has some sights, smells, and experiences for dogs and their people. Roy City Dog Park is located at 5700 S. 3260 W. This dog park is a very basic grassy field that gives dogs some exercise, and no-frills socialization. It doesn’t have water on-site or places of much comfort for the people. Doggie waste bags can be in short supply, too. A little pathway around the dog park can be a good spot for on-leash exercise for a person and dog. Pet Boutique located at 1787 W. 5300 S offers grooming services for your pup, including nail trimming, bathing, and deshedding.

West Jordan

West Jordan is 22 miles south of Bountiful. West Jordan Dog Park is located at 5982 West Bingham Hwy. This dog park has three acres of fully fenced grassy enclosure for off-leash socialization and exercise. There are three separate areas for small and large dogs. West Jordan comes equipped with water fountains designed for dogs and people. Some covered benches allow human companions to sit with a bit of shade while they supervise their pups. Handy doggie waste bags and receptacles are conscientiously used by visitors. A paved walkway encircles the dog park, and makes for a pleasant on-leash stroll for pup and his person. Hours are from dawn to dusk.

Ogden

Ogden is 28 miles north of Bountiful. Ogden has many activities for a dog and his person to do together. Ogden City Dog Park is located at 2450 A Avenue. This dog park is a popular dog park that has a large grassy fenced enclosure for dogs to run off leash, and do a sniff, wag, and wiggle with a new furry pal or two. There is a separate area for small dogs. Water is available onsite, and there are plenty doggie waste bags for handy cleanups. A few pieces of agility equipment give dogs something to train on, and provide some extra exercise and fun.

Sandy

Sandy is 27 miles south of Bountiful. Sandy has some amenities for dogs and their people to take advantage of. Sandy Dog Park is located at 9980 S 300 E. This dog park has one acre of fully fenced in, off-leash socialization and play with furry friends. Trees line the dog park, and benches provide human companions with a place to watch their pups. There is water available onsite. Dogs climb on scenic boulders in the center of the dog park. Doggie waste bags are supplied. A walking trail makes for on leash additional exercise. Sandy Dog Park is open from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m.
