The Waynesboro Dog Park is located within Orchard Estates' Northside Park, and provides a fenced in open area where your pup can run, play, and make new friends! It's the only dog park in the area, so it's typically very pupular! If you have a shy dog, keep them leashed and explore Northside Park's walking trails and paths until there's a lull in dog park activity. Even if you'd prefer to keep your dog on leash, there's enough at Northside Park to be worth a visit. The playground has a few different sets of equipment, and the sports fields can't be beat. Leash up and get exploring!

The Welty Road Park is a gorgeous park with a lot of room to roam. Your high energy dog is going to love exploring this entire large field, and dragging you along with them! This park has a baseball field, tennis courts, and a basketball court at the center. The rest of the park is a huge, open field! This is great for dogs who hate crowds, but can be ruff if you're trying to please a wide variety of family members, from kids to canines. Welty Road Park also doesn't have any fountains or restrooms, so plan accordingly when you set out.

Red Run Park in the Rouszerville neighborhood is a compact park that makes the most of its space. There's a playground with modern climbing equipment. There's also a sports field, with markings for several games, from American football to soccer. Keep walking past the sports fields, and you'll come to a wooded field. Red Run Park's Wagon Trail runs in a narrow loop through this meadow. You can clock most of a mile if you follow the path the whole way, so just a loop or two should be enough for a great walk!
