North Blytheville
One of the most pawsome places for walking with Fido is in the North Blytheville neighborhood! It’s home to the Blytheville Sportsplex which is located at Thunder Bayou Golf Links. Leash your pup and explore this 50-acre recreational area that has baseball, softball and soccer fields. The 1.5-mile Thunder Bayou Walking Trail loops around the playing field portion of the complex for a pawrific stroll. The trail also winds around the park’s woofderful, sparkling seven-acre lake. It’s a pleasant spot for a jaunt with your four-legged friend! There’s also tons of open grass and trees around the complex. There are restrooms, but you’ll want to bring drinking water for you and Fido.36

Check out one of Blytheville’s most pawpular dog walking destinations in the this neighborhood! You and your leashed dog will love visiting the neighborhood’s Walker Park. The park has a paved walking path that winds around the calm waters of a large pond. To add to the pleasantness, there’s benches along the path where you and your pooch can take in the views of the spraying fountain and the quaint footbridge. Walker Park has tons of open grass where you and your pup can romp! You’ll also find tennis courts, a playground, picnic areas and a plethora of mature trees!24

Blytheville City Center
A pawsome park awaits you and your furry pal in Blytheville’s City Center neighborhood! This area’s Cypress Park is a furrific place to take your leashed pup, as there’s tons of wide open grassy space! If it’s a hot day, bring a chair or a blanket and grab a spot beneath one of the big shady trees and relax while you listen to the birds chirp. There’s a woofderful paved walking path through the east portion of the park where you and your pooch can stretch your legs. The park also has covered picnic tables, tennis and basketball courts, plus ball fields and restrooms.12

There, you and Fido will find Williams Park, a large community green space with ample stretches of lush grass and tall trees that provide woofderful relief from Blytheville’s subtropical climate. There is a paved path that loops around the south end of the park where you and your dog can do a few tail-wagging laps. Williams Park’s covered picnic area with a barbecue grill is a pawsome spot for family gatherings.
