The water flows very fast in places, so perhaps leave the water adventures for more experienced hikers and pups. You will need to pack extra water, doggy waste bags and towels if you happen to get in the water. Locals praise Bungee America as being a great place to check an item off your bucket list!

Hastings Ranch

This pawesome neighborhood is located 16 miles from Azusa, California and is home to Alice’s Dog Park. Your pup is free to run and play off-leash at this 2.5-acre fenced park. The grass here is herbicide-free for the safety of your pooch. To visit this park, you will need to have a license for your furry friend and provide proof of current vaccinations. There is plenty of parking nearby, and the park makes everything easy so you and your pooch can enjoy a nice day together without worrying. They offer water at the watering stations, mounds for your furry pal to jump and climb on, and waste stations. You can sit on a shaded bench to watch your pup play.

Highland Park

Hermon Dog Park is located in the southern region of LA's Highland Park neighborhood. This dog park has two separate fenced in areas -- one area is for smaller pups and the other is for larger dogs. This off-leash park features a double-gated entrance so you don't have to worry about your pooch getting out. The park is open every day from sun up until sun down and has a lot to offer. Seating and shade trees are abundant -- and mutts-needed! -- in this park. Your pooch will love making fur-iends with the local dogs here, but there's plenty of room if they want to run solo if they want. Drinking water is available, but you will need to bring doggie waste bags for cleaning up. Bring a frisbee for a fun game of catch!

N Altadena Dr.

This puptastic neighborhood is located 16 miles from Azusa, California and is home to the Eaton Canyon Park & Nature Center. Your pup is welcome to accompany you at this beautiful park as long as they remain on their leash during the visit. Your pooch will love the easy hiking trail here, which crosses the stream quite a few times so your pup can take a dip in the water. There are plenty of trees for shade and beautiful scenery as you walk. Carbon Canyon Rd

If you and your pooch are looking for a place to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy some quiet time, this neighborhood has just the place for you. The Carbon Canyon Regional Park is a huge park that has everything you and your pooch will love. It is located 23 miles from Azusa, California and will be a bonding experience for you and your pup. They do require your canine pal to stay on their leash, and there is a $3 parking fee. There are two options to choose from when visiting this park. You can check out the undeveloped area, which has a dirt trail that will take you through the redwood forest. This area has a lot of wildlife and many birds to watch. It is an easy walk and your pooch will love all of the different scents along the way. The other option is the developed area, which has 2 fishing piers and a nice grassy area for you and your pup to stop and enjoy a lunch outdoors. No matter which option you choose, you and your pup will make un-fur-gettable memories here!
