Monrovia, California, is a famous location. The city, nested on the San Gabriel foothills, is a popular location for TV and movie studios. Millions of people in the world see Monrovia every day without knowing so. Monrovia is, however, also popular with dog owners as there are many beautiful parks to walk the dogs.
There is no off-leash dog park in Monrovia, but there are several next door. The closest off-dog opportunity is found in Arcadia, the Arcadia Dog Park. This small dog park is divided into a section for small dogs and a section for larger dogs and offers benches to sit on. This dog park is rather basic but gets the job done.
Another choice is the Sierra Madre Dog Park, which is also a close distance from Monrovia. It is slightly bigger and more advanced than the Arcadia Dog Park and has lots of large trees, a water dish and some patches of grass.
The Pasadena off-leash dog park is a bit further away from Monrovia, California, and is considered by the locals in Monrovia as the best dog park in the neighborhood for those that do not mind a longer drive.
