North Rosemead

The city's largest park is located in the neighborhood of North Rosemead. This area includes residential streets, a community center, and some commercial establishments. When you want to get some fresh air, take your furry friend to Rosemead Park. You'll find a half-mile walking trail and open fields here. Take some time to hike or jog around the ball fields and playgrounds. Bring some food and have a barbecue with your canine companion. Dogs are permitted in public areas, provided they're on a leash that's no longer than six feet. Make sure to clean up any droppings while visiting the park.

Garvey

Garvey is a largely residential neighborhood with a few businesses and a linear park. Here, you can walk your pup down streets with single-family homes. If you and your pooch crave green space, head to Zapopan Park on Charlotte Avenue. This seven-acre facility has open fields, a playground, and a picnic area. Play frisbee or stretch out on the lawn with your special pal. Pack a snack to share with your furry friend in the picnic area. Dogs are permitted in the park as long as they're under your control and on a leash up to six feet long. Remember to bring some waste bags and water with you.

South San Gabriel

The neighborhood of South San Gabriel includes residential and shopping areas and is located next to Whittier Narrows Golf Course. Take your canine pal for a walk down the street or head over to Garvey Ranch Park to go hiking on the trails. This 28-acre facility includes a paved pathway, open fields, and a picnic area. Walk or jog around the playground and ball fields with your pup. Bring along something to eat and enjoy a snack in the park with your special buddy. Dogs are permitted to join you here on a leash. Make sure you pick up their waste.

E Valley Blvd

E Valley Blvd is a mixed zone neighborhood with residential, commercial, and government properties. Here, you can take your canine companion on a stroll through the neighborhood. There are a few pocket parks that provide a place to enjoy a little green space. Head to Sally Tanner Park and play frisbee or work on obedience with your pooch. There's a gazebo here where you can grab a snack together. Dogs are permitted to accompany you in this public facility as long as they're on a leash and under your control. Don't fur-get to practice good pettiquette and clean up after your pup!

Walnut Grove

In the neighborhood of Walnut Grove, you'll find private residences, schools, and some industrial complexes. There are pleasant streets in this area where you and Fido can go for a walk together. When you want to get out and have an adventure with your pup in a pawtastic park, head to Whittier Narrows Park, located on Rosemead Blvd. This facility is almost 1,500 acres in size, and it includes multi-use trails, picnic areas, and a dog sports field. Enjoy some time playing frisbee here with your pooch. Dogs are welcome to join you in the park as long as they're properly restrained and under your control.
