When you want to treat your canine pal to some off-leash play time with other four-footed members, take him to Whittier Dog Park. This facility is just over nine miles south of downtown. There are separate sections for large and small dogs here. Each play area includes shaded parts, benches, and water stations. Dogs must have a current county license to enter.
