East Los Angeles
While you're in East Los Angeles, you'd be barking mad to miss out on Art District Dog Park. This is a small dog park, but what it lacks in size, it makes up for in beauty. One side of the dog park features a large, colorful mural of doggie faces which makes for the pawfect photo op! The dog park itself is a small patch of dirt where Fido can get some exercise. A part of the area is fenced in for small dogs. A couple of mature trees grace the center of the dog park. Human companions have two benches to sit on. Don't forget to bring the water and waste bags!

Highland Park
LA's Highland Park neighborhood is one of the city's oldest and most historic. LA Weekly even named it LA's greatest neighborhood in 2013, so don't make the faux paw of not stopping by! Your first destination should be Hermon Park, also known as Arroyo Seco Park. This park is home to a large dog park that your pooch will love! The dog park has a separate enclosure for small dogs and plenty of room to run. The surface of this dog park looks like dirt, but is actually decomposed granite. This substance wipes off easily, so Fido won’t get dirty while playing. Water is readily available at the dog park. Doggie bags are fully stocked in dispensers around the park.
