The Del Norte Dog Park in West Covina, just five miles from Corvina, offers a large and small dog park for your pup to run around in off leash. The park offers grass, trees for shade, benches, a picnic table area, doggy water fountain, and waste station area. The Del Norte Park offers a baseball field, picnic area, splash pad, playground, tennis courts, and a restroom. Make sure to take advantage of the walking path that goes throughout the park in case Fido needs some exercise, but doesn't feel like running around the dog park.

The San Gabriel River Trail is a pawsome 38-mile trail that you and  Fido can explore together. With a asphalt and concrete trail surface, you and your pup can easily hike this trail together. The trail will take you through the San Gabriel Mountains to the Pacific Ocean. After a great hike, grab a bite to eat at Picasso's Cafe, Bakery and Catering Co. They offer award winning dishes including sandwiches, wraps, and paninis, plus they offer beer and wine to drink. Located in Irwindale and only three miles out of Covina, your pup will love hiking and eating alongside of you.

The Kalher Russell Park is a great park to visit with your furry pal by your side. The park has tons of amenities like a basketball and tennis courts, sports fields, a playground, a roller rink, and a trail for you and Fido to walk along. There are plenty of trees to help provide shade throughout your walk, and locals call this park a hidden gem since it is always clean and well taken care of. If Fido is looking for more of an adventure then check out Galster Wilderness Park Nature Center. The 42-acre park offers a great hiking experience north of the San Jose Hills through the San Gabriel Valley. Fido will love hiking the trails with you by his side.

Let Fido explore Kelby Park with you by his side. This pawsome park is great to visit if you are in need of a walk or just want to get out for some fresh air. The park features a huge grass area where Fido can run around and play fetch. The park also offers a playground and restrooms, but be warned that there aren't many trees to help provide shade, so it may not be the best park to visit during the hot summer months. Make sure to bring clean-up bags and water when you and Fido are talking a nice walk through Kelby Park.

If your pup is itching for a good walk, check out the great walking/jogging path throughout the park. After a fun day out, grab a bite to eat at Manny's El Loco. Manny's dishes out L.A. style Mexican food like tacos and taquitos, plus the make their own salsa at the restaurant. If Fido just wants a tasty treat, stop into Cold Stone Creamery and get some specialty crafted ice cream that the both of you can enjoy. Both of these places offer dog friendly patios so Fido can sit by your side while you eat.
