For everyday supplies and quality products, stop by Tommy’s Pet Studio to pick up all-natural foods and treats. Residents of Blue Jay can enjoy the natural comforts of their backyard or take a quick drive over to the neighboring communities outside of town.

This area stands as the community’s central hub for locals and tourists alike. Enjoy hiking trails, lake activities, and even a primitive campground at the nearby Dogwood Campground. The dog park at the nearby Mackay Park allows a space where your dogs can run around. Be prepared, though; you may need to bring your own bags and water. Hungry? There are a number of dog-friendly restaurants down the village center, such as Belgian Waffle Works. Don’t fur-get to bring a leash and water bowl along if you plan to chow down with your hound in this part of Lake Arrowhead!

Twin Peaks

This tiny community is home to beautiful mountain scenery and the hidden gem that is the Twin Peaks Recreation Complex. The park has something for the whole family, including a well-stocked dog park nestled behind the community garden and senior center. Your dogs can rehydrate themselves at the 3-height water fountain while you lounge nearby in the seating areas. The doggy park separates large and small dogs to ensure a safe time for visitors of all sizes. It may be a short drive away, but there is ample parking to accommodate everyone.

Big Bear Lake Village

Enjoy some pet-friendly activities near Big Bear Lake! Does your pooch love water and waves? Stop by any of the beaches off Highway 38 – they are all dog welcoming! To get further out, grab a doggy life jacket and head over to Big Bear Marina to take a boat ride. On land, the Bark Park Dog Park offers a small and large dog area. You can feel comfortable letting pups of all sizes off-leash to stretch their legs. For more furrific adventures (and craft beer!), take your pooch over to the Big Bear Lake Brewing.

Moonlight Rim

If you find yourself in Moreno Valley, take your pooch over to the aptly-named Hound Town Dog Park. They can run around in a super secure double-fenced area, which segregates the dogs by size for safer playtime. For a more rugged adventure, take Spot over to Terri Peak Trail to enjoy a 3.5-mile hike in the brisk mountain air. Prospective residents have plenty of variety to choose from with a number of pet-friendly properties available in the area. For lunch, get cultured and take a trip to France with the European menu at Mimi’s Café, where pawesome pets are welcome all day!
