Rubidoux
Riverside, California is home to another dog park, and this one is located near downtown, in the Rubidoux neighborhood. The Pat Merritt Dog Park has a reputation for being clean and well-maintained in addition to being frequented by friendly dogs and humans. There is a section for dogs under 18", and a separate enclosure for bigger dogs. For your convenience, there is water available in the park, as well as waste disposal items, and plenty of seating, much of which is shaded. Visitors also appreciate the double-gated entry system to the park and the peace of mind it provides.36

Etiwanda
About 30 miles southwest of Rimforest is the city of Rancho Cucamonga, which has a population of around 175,000 people. In the northeastern quadrant of the city, you'll find a place called the Etiwanda Creek Community and Dog Park. This park has activities to satisfy the entire family, from the playground to the sports fields, walking trails, and more. The dog park is fenced-in and features an enclosure just for small dogs and another area for bigger dogs. This busy park has drinking water for dogs, waste clean-up stations, seating, shade for hot summer days, and it is completely free to use.24

Cedar Glen
One of the closest dog parks to Rimforest is the Cedar Glen Dog Park in Lake Arrowhead. It takes just over ten minutes to get there, and it's in the eastern part of town. If you're looking for a dog park where your little dog can play with big dogs in the same space or vice versa, this is the one for you! It is one large, enclosed space with lots of seating in the center of the park, and there are also doggy bags available. Be advised that there is no running water source in the park, so be sure to bring your own.12

5th Street
Highland is another city in San Bernardino County, and it has a population of more than 53,000 people. Highland is about 30 miles south of Rimforest, and in the town's center, you'll find the Aurantia Park. Aurantia Park has playgrounds, a walking path, picnic facilities, and even its own off-leash dog park. This clean and peaceful dog park has big and small dog sections, as well as covered seating for hot days. The park provides visitors with waste disposal items, and there are water fountains for humans and dogs as well. If you'd like to use the walking path with your dog, you're welcome to do so, but they must be on a leash.
