San Bernardino, California is the 17th biggest city in the state and the 100th biggest in the United States. The town was founded in 1869 and was named after Saint Bernardino of Siena, a Catholic Saint. The town has over 48,000 dogs living in San Bernardino with tons of great dog parks and other places to go with Fido.
The Loma Linda Dog Park should be your first stop to let your pup run off some energy. The designers at Loma Linda Dog Park really put some thought into little and big dogs and their separate needs, which is why there are separate areas for small and large dogs, as well as drinking fountains, seating, and agility equipment for the pups to exercise on. There are some toys and water bowls for the dogs to share and a swimming pool for the summer.
Hulda Crooks Park is also a fun place to bring your furball. You will enjoy the view of the canyon and San Bernardino Valley while Fido runs around with other pups. Afterward, you can both enjoy the trails. Hiking in the hills or the canyon is a fun way to spend the day.
Wildwood Park has a big fenced-in dog park in the middle of 24 acres of city park area. Some of the park features are baseball fields, volleyball courts, playgrounds, picnic shelters and tables, BBQ pits, and exercise trails. You and Fido can enjoy this park together.
