A hiking trail surrounds the dog park, and gives a view of the canyon. City Hall Dog Park is located at 1401 San Carlos Avenue. This dog park was opened in 2015 and has become a welcome addition to the city for local and visiting dogs. The City Hall Dog Park gives dogs the opportunity to socialize and play leash-free. Care was taken to preserve the trees, flowers, and plants in this dog park.

Belmont is 7 miles north of Emerald Hills. Cipriani Dog Park is located at 2525 Buena Vista Avenue. This is a spacious dog park with land that is completely fenced. The ground is mostly dirt. This fully fenced area has opportunities for dogs to play and socialize. Dogs get plenty of exercise climbing on the agility equipment. Shore Dogs Dog Park is located at 1393 Radio Road.
