Corona Heights
The Corona Heights Dog Park is just over 20 miles north of El Granada, in the Corona Heights neighborhood in central San Francisco. This dog park is over 10 acres, and it's situated on a hill, so you and your dog will both get a good workout exploring it. There is also an area of the park with a steep rocky incline, and adventurous dogs often like to climb it. There are also walking paths and sports fields in the park, but your dog should be leashed in other areas. You may not be able to see the Golden Gate Bridge from this park, but it does offer scenic views of several other special San Fran spots.36

Belle Monte
Belmont is a city in California with a population of more than 27,000 people, and it's just over 13 miles east of El Granada. The Belle Monte neighborhood of Belmont is where you'll find the Cipriani Dog Park, and it includes an area for big dogs and another for the little guys. This park has seen its fair share of improvements over the years, and today, it has a friendly group of regulars who are welcoming to newcomers, too! The park also includes benches, water stations, waste disposal supplies, and it's also lit for nighttime use. Some visitors note it gets a bit muddy here after a rain, so be sure to bring a towel to clean up messy paws.24

San Bruno East
The Commodore Dog Park is 15 miles north of El Granada, in eastern San Bruno, California. This off-leash dog park is fairly large, and it includes big and small dog sections. There is a gate between the small and big dog sections, and it's often left open so dogs of all sizes can play together. The dog park includes water stations, waste disposal supplies, seating, and shade. The rest of Commodore Park has sports fields, playgrounds, BBQ pits, and picnic facilities. Your dog can join you in these other areas of the park, but they must be on a leash.12

Redwood Shores
The Redwood Shores area of Redwood City, California is about 20 miles east of El Granada, and it's also where you can find the Shores Dog Park. This off-leash dog park is entirely fenced in, and it includes a double-gated entry system as well as big and small dog sections. Other features of the park include seating, water stations, and doggy waste clean-up supplies. This well-maintained park has a peaceful atmosphere and lots of friendly regulars. Located between lagoons, you'll often get to see some beautiful bird species around the park. It's also near a walking trail, and you can trek it with your dog, but they must be on a leash.
