Hi! My name is Rebecca and I am an animal lover by nature. I grew up surrounded by animals and raised a Border-Collie mix pup to live a long, healthy and happy 16 years! I have walked dogs, house-sat, and cared for all kinds of pets for over 16 years. Obedience classes & agility training courses were part of the growing up process with my own dog, Sara. Mostly we had a fun, goofy time just playing. She went everywhere with me! Since she passed away, I take any chance I can to be around my canine pals. I've always had an affinity for dogs large & small, with boundless energy or a calm disposition. I know how important it is to have your dog(s) well-cared for while you are busy or traveling so I am here to help! I am always up for a leisurely stroll in the neighborhood, brisk walk or challenging hike. Whatever your needs are I can meet them. I feel very fortunate to be able to walk a variety of dogs. It would be my great pleasure to meet your dog and make a new friend!

It all started with a Kelpie to whom I got to be “Mommy” for nearly 16 years. That incredible and life-changing experience catalyzed my shift in professional direction to pet care services. Now, I am certified with DogTec as well as Pet Sitters International; trained in pet first aid and CPR. I live in Adam’s Point near Lake Merritt. I welcome senior, special needs and/or timid pets. I am highly experienced in administering oral medications as well as performing basic physical therapy stretching routines. Let me create a safe, happy, adventure-filled experience for your furry baby that passes the sniff test every time!

San Bruno, located on the peninsula between San Francisco and San Mateo, was a rural town until the 1940s. The Tanforan horse racing track was used during WWII for the internment of Americans of Japanese descent and later served as a personnel depot for the Army. Housing booms in the 1940's and 1960's transformed the area into a city, which has grown to love their pups. Five veterinarians and clinics are available in San Bruno to respond to the needs of your pup.
The San Bruno City Park is the largest park in the city, and welcomes you and your leashed pup to enjoy the beautiful green space, trees, and picnic areas. Enjoy your walk or exercise by fetching a few balls and sticks in this lovely green space. A dog park is located at Commodore Park, complete with fenced areas for off-leash play. For more outdoor fun, your pup may enjoy the trails at Junipero Serra Park, or a walk by the El Zanjon Creek. You’ll be treated to breathtaking scenic views of the city, bay, and mountains.
After exercise, enjoy a variety of dog-friendly restaurants such as Cafe Grillades for the feel of Paris. Try Patio Filipino for the fusion of Filipino-Spanish fine dining. Order a shawarma at the Mazzat Bistro, which offers fine Lebanese cuisine, or pick a slice at Extreme Pizza. These pooch friendly restaurants offer outdoor seating where your pup can join you as you enjoy your meal. Bon Appetit in San Bruno!
Get in a peaceful leashed walk with your pup through Forest Lane Park. The park features a large grassy area great for walking or playing, and has a basketball court, playground, and picnic and BBQ area. The park is surrounded with shade trees and brush that provides a wonderful place for a sniff-tastic exploration as your pooch gets his exercise. Stay at the dog-friendly Regency Inn SFO Airport where they welcome up to two pets for an additional fee per night. You’ll love a stop at the Anderson Bakery for pastry treats, or to order a sandwich and enjoy the outdoor tables with your pup while you eat.
Grab your pup's leash and go for a stroll through Posy Park, a lovely place for a walk at the end of the shopping area on San Mateo Avenue. Your pup will enjoy scouting around the edges of the park, and through the trees and underbrush, for some pawsome smells, or enjoy a leashed walk through the beautiful green space. You’ll enjoy the park benches throughout this park for a quick rest. Bring along your lunch and enjoy a little more time outside with the cooling shade of the large trees before heading back home.
Grundy Park, named after San Bruno's first Mayor, features a large open lawn area, two play areas, one reservable picnic site, and a restroom. The park has a concrete surfaced walkway that is perfect for a leashed walk with your pup. There are some lovely large trees interspersed in the green space that shade the park area during the summer. Two playground areas are observable from the pathway, allowing you to get in a walk with your pooch while the children play. Bring along a picnic lunch and enjoy the afternoon outdoors.
Earl and Glenview Park is a small two acres with a play area on a large lawn. There are park benches for a bit of rest after your walk around the area your leashed pup. He'll love the snifftastic exploration through the trees and bushes. For the more adventurous, the Crestmoor Canyon is an active ecosystem of plants and animals with a rudimentary trail system based on firebreaks and trails maintained by local foot traffic. Your pup will be thrilled to explore the pawsome trails and scout the area with you. Wear hiking boots on this rustic trail and get some beautiful pictures of the scenic views.
Commodore Park is beautifully laid out with something for everyone. As one of the City's larger parks, the park features innovative play areas, a baseball diamond, picnic tables, BBQ pits, restroom facilities and a fully enclosed dog exercise area located at the eastern end of the park. From the lush green grass and shade trees to the recreational facilities, the park is a great place for a leashed walk with your pup. Your pup will howl with excitment at the opportunity to play in The Commodore Dog Park, a safe, clean place to play off-leash in the grass. The fully fenced area has a separate small dog area, water available, and dog waste bags for cleanup.
