The City of Pacifica stretches along six-miles of coastal beaches and hills, and is well known regionally as a popular surfing destination. Visiting surfers and families often head to the Linda Mar Beach, a popular destination for those with ocean in mind. Rockaway Beach is another scenic location, and offers recreation, shopping and dining as well. Eleven veterinarians and clinics are available to serve your pooch at the first sign of an ailment or injury.

Dog-friendly Pacifica welcomes you to the beauty of the Pacific Ocean, and the lovely community parks, such as Pedro Point Headlands where one can take a short leashed hike with their pup for some breathtaking views. There are two trails to explore here. The S Ridge Trail is quite steep, but safe, while the Arroyo Trail is less traveled due to poison oak and dangling roots, so be on the lookout!

Enjoy the many dog-friendly eateries you'll find in Pacifica. The Cafe Pacifica serves the Gangsta Wrap which you and your pup can enjoy on the patio. Or sip a glass of wine and snack on some tapas at A Grape in the Fog where you and Fido can relax at the outdoor tables and enjoy the live music. Puerto 27 welcomes you and your pooch to their outdoor tables for a plate of yummy empanadas.
