The park is mainly grass, but it does have some spots that get muddy so make sure to wipe your dog’s paws before you leave. Palisades Park has a few picnic tables to sit at, but usually the park gets busy, so there isn’t a lot of room. Make sure to bring water for your dogs to drink and clean-up bags. West Lake is also home to two great eateries to stop at with your dog. Burgermeister has an outdoor patio that is dog friendly and offers amazing comfort food to eat. Blue Line Pizza is a great place to stop, grab a slice, and enjoy the beautiful California on the outdoor patio which 100% welcomes your dog.

Broadmoor

Broadmoor is home to Westmoor Park and a great place to take Fido for a fun afternoon out. Your dog will love the beautiful trees that shade the park and the big grass field that is perfect for fetch. The difference between this park and others is there is no playground or structures to play on, just a wide-open grass park. The park does offer BBQ pits and picnic tables which is perfect to have a picnic with your dog. There is a high school nearby so at times the park could be busy and don’t forget to bring water for your dog and clean-up bags.

Serramonte

If food trucks, games, and fun is just what you and your dog are looking for, be sure to check out Off the Grid Serramonte. Off the Grid offers numerous different food truck varieties catering to everyone’s needs plus they have arcade style games for you to enjoy. Your dog is more than welcome to wander around and help decide what truck to eat from, but they need to stay on leash. If the two of you are looking for less of a selection, then check out Pieology Pizzeria which has an outdoor patio and lets you create your own yummy pizza to enjoy.

Fairmont West

Less than ten minutes out of Daly City is Pacifica, home to the Esplanade Beach. This dogtastic beach allows your dog to run around off-leash and splash his paws in the beautiful Pacific Ocean. Make sure to bring plenty of water for your dog to drink and some clean-up bags to clean up after your pooch. If you and your dog are the road tripping type, then right next to the beach is San Francisco RV Resort which welcomes your dog to stay at their resort and have a relaxing evening after a fun day at the beach.

Lake Shore

Lake Shore is home to the Fort Funston Doggie Beach, a pawsome beach that your dog would die to visit and enjoy. This off-leash doggie beach lets your dog get sand in their paws and explore the fun trails around it. Check out the Sunset Trail if the two of you want a long hike or the Chip Trail if you’re craving something smaller. This beach is very popular among the locals so make sure your dog likes socializing before going. Be sure to bring water for your dog to drink and clean up bags as well. If you and your dog decide to visit the Bank Swallow at Fort Funston then make sure they stay on leash.
