Hello my name is Kaithlyn. I've grown up with animals my entire life. From bottle feeding the kittens my family rescued to providing a loving home for every animal that is part of my family. I grew up with two dogs and three cats in my entire life and it's because of them that I love being around animals. No matter if it's a stray or a friendly neighborhood animal, I would treat all of them with the respect and love as though they were mine.

Hi, I have been walking dogs and Pet Sitting for over 5 years. I’ve always enjoyed walking my own dogs, ensuring they received the exercise and fun that they needed. I recently completed a Grooming certification program to increase my contact with dogs and help to maintain their health and happiness. I volunteer at Animal Shelters and my ongoing experiences with dogs has offered me a wealth of information about different dog breeds and their specific needs. My passion for dogs and their well-being, I believe has not only made me a great dog walker, but also a superb dog caretaker.

“Dog training isn’t only for dogs”
I am a graduate of the Dog Training Academy for dog trainers in San Francisco and obtained my certification. My method is through positive reinforcement and never causes pain to the dog in any way. Dogs are highly social. Although they are different, they have needs just like us and they must be met. I will show you how to achieve a balanced dog. We all want a healthy happy dog! If your dog requires it, i can help your dog get along with other dogs and people too, if you request of course.

A small town in San Bernardino County, California, Fawnskin is a great getaway for dog owners looking for a place with room to run. Just minutes away from Big Bear Lake, there are always adventures waiting for you here. A quick tour of the town will take you through their main street, where you can see their post office, fire station, and local market. You will see many residents running errands with their dogs on foot throughout the day here in Fawnskin. The town doesn’t have its own animal hospital, but there are two in the surrounding towns located on Big Bear Lake.
Dog owners spend a lot of time on the lake. There are lots of access points to get to the water and the surrounding green spaces. There are several green open parks to visit both in Fawnskin and in the towns that share the lake. Stop at the local North Shore Café when you get hungry for a bite. If you are looking to visit a great waterside town for a weekend away from your busy life, grab your towels, water gear, and some extra snacks for the day and head on in to Fawnskin for a barkin’ good time!
West Fawnskin is home to the town’s Fawnskin Market. The San Bernardino Fire Station is also on this side of town and makes a great stop for sight-seeing on a morning or afternoon walk. The Bear Climbing Company is a rock climbing club with outdoor facilities where your dog can watch you scale the rocks or take a hike with you. Grout Creek is a wonderful outdoor water spot if you don’t want to go all the way to the lake for a splash with your pup. North Shore Drive will take you where you need to go in this town, so grab your backpack, climbing gear, and dog harness and head on over!
East Fawnskin makes up the other half of this wonderful community. It is home to Miller Park, an open recreational park where you can enjoy some leash time with your dogs. Full of beautiful residential streets, the eastern part of town is an amazingly colorful scene where you can take your dog for a walk and enjoy all of the flowers, birds and squirrels that the neighborhood residents are so proud of. If you are looking for a great spot to spend the day, head down to Big Bear Lake and enjoy some time on the shore. Don’t forget your waste bags and towels for this adventure.
North Shore is the more rural and open part of Fawnskin. Inhabited throughout the year by campers and travelers, the North Shore Recreation Area is a popular destination for dog lovers who can’t stand the thought of leaving Rover home alone for the weekend. You will want to bring plenty of waste bags and toys for this sniff-tastic outing! North Shore is open and full of plenty of lush grass and trees to explore on your way down to the most popular spot on Big Bear Lake. You will want your towels for the trip down to the lake, and prepare for a splash-and-sniff adventure!
Big Bear is the central part of Big Bear Lake’s southern neighborhoods, just a 15-minute drive around the lake from Fawnskin. This part of town is home to the best access to Big Bear Lake’s banks. These banks are dog-friendly and ready for visitors to spend the day or the weekend. Bring your tent and plenty of towels, and get ready to get wet! Your dog will be elated to smell the water and other dogs around him during your stay at Big Bear Lake. There are plenty of dog-friendly restaurants in this part of town, from the Teddy Bear Restaurant to Nottingham’s Tavern, all with outdoor seating and prime views of the lake.
Moonridge is a small community just outside of Big Bear Lake, about twenty minutes from Fawnskin. Moonridge is a popular resort location for many travelers and is full of dog-friendly hotels surrounded by plenty of open green spaces and trails to walk together. Bring a good leash and your walking shoes to this town, as your pup will want to drag you everywhere and show you all of the things to be sniffed! As long as you are fully stocked on waste bags and water, you are ready for a fur-filled day of fun and laughs as you make your way through Moonridge!
