Pinto Lake Park

Pinto Lake County Park is 183-acres of open space in the Pinto Lake Park neighborhood. The area features a large dog park with a double door entry, and separate areas for big and small pups. While the dogs are running around sniffing butts, parents can sit in the shade and enjoy chatting with other canine lovers. There are water fountains and waste bags available, so puppy parents can keep the park clean. Outside the dog park, there is a beautiful lake and fishing pier in addition to a playground and disc golf course. The trails throughout the park are perfect for longer nature walks with Fido. If you need a place to stay, the nearby Comfort Inn allows two pets for an additional fee.

La Selva Beach

One of the best pup-friendly beaches is located in the La Selva Beach neighborhood at Manresa State Beach. Beautiful views of the sand and sea are just some of the highlights of this beach and park. You will need to keep Fido on a leash while on the beach, but he can hang out with you and enjoy the sun and fresh air. Pups are also welcome at the Manresa Uplands Campground, where you can pitch a tent or bring an RV and enjoy a few days of relaxation with Fido and the family. Seaview Ranch

Hiking the trails with your pup at the Watsonville Slough National Wildlife Refuge is a great option if you are in the Seaview Ranch neighborhood.
