“Give every puppo a hug and a squeeze”

After close to 600 walks for canine clients, I've gained much confidence and experience to care for all kinds of puppos. Today I am a proud momma to a German Shepherd mix I adopted, and we're so happy together. Dogs are wonderful creatures. I often feel like we don't deserve such loyalty and undying affection. For all they do for us, I like to give back and remind them how much they are loved and appreciated.

My name is Mitra and I have a BA in psychology and more than 20 years experience working with dogs. I have raised service dog puppies, managed a dog kennel and dog daycare, worked as a dog trainer conducting basic obedience and drop in puppy socials, and have also worked and volunteered in animal shelters taking care of shelter dogs and cats, as well as assisting veterinarians with medicating and spay/neuter surgeries. I have grown up with dogs my whole life and have seen them from puppyhood to adulthood. In the past I worked with my poodle fornpet therapy at a hospice, and competed in AKC agility competitions with my previous australian shepherd. I currently reside with my two dogs Poet (an australian shepherd) and Trooper (a border collie/labrador cross we adopted from a local shelter). I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds. As a dog owner myself, I know the safety of your dog is very important and I will make sure your pet is properly leashed before leaving and will always take precautions with gates and door so they are safe before and after their walks!

Hi, I'm Casey! I grew up in Walnut Creek, and recently moved to Santa Cruz. My family has always owned at least one dog since I was born and I train them myself. I’ve been walking my dogs and dogsitting for my neighbors’ dogs (and cats) since I was 7 and love it! My grandpa owned a dog grooming business for while where I got some experience bathing dogs. I love all dogs big and small and I look forward to meeting yours!
