There is also a walking path here that you can follow to enjoy a leisurely stroll with your furry friend. Just be sure to bring some water and treats for your canine to enjoy after all that fun!

Here you are welcome to bring two furry friends weighing up to 50 Ibs for only a small additional fee per pet. You can also enjoy furrific amenities, including free Wi-Fi and breakfast. In addition, you will also find the Super 8 in Lamar! Here you can stay with two canines that weigh up to 40 Ibs. There is also only a small additional fee to pay for your pup per night of your stay.

The puptown of Las Animas is located just to the west of Lamar and is home to the pawsome John Martin Reservoir State Park! This is a furrific place for an adventure with your canine where you can admire the views of the John Martin Reservoir and the dam. There is also the John Martin Reservoir Campground where all pooches are welcome, as long as they remain on leash. There hook-ups here that you can use, as well as restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities. This means you can camp out under the stars overlooking the John Martin Reservoir with your beloved companion!
La Junta
For a pawsome day out with your furry friend, jump in the car and head on over to La Junta! Here you will find the puptastic La Junta City Park, which will be a whole load of fun for you and your pooch.
