Nunn
Once a depot for the Denver Pacific railroad, the small town of Nunn is a family community that welcomes dogs and their owners. Here, you can take your furry friend to Nunn Park to get a little exercise. There are some shade trees, an open field, and a playground in this facility. Wander through the park or bring a blanket and enjoy a picnic in the grass with your special pal. Head west down 3rd or 4th street to arrive at Willard Park. Put your pup through his paces in this open lot. Dogs must be kept under control while in public areas. Remember to pick up any waste.36

Buffalo Creek
The neighborhood of Buffalo Creek in Wellington is about 15 miles west of Nunn. In this residential area, dogs and their owners can stroll along peaceful streets. When you want to treat your special pal to some off-leash time with other canines, head to Wellington Community Park. This 30-acre facility includes a dog park where your pooch can play with other pups. For access, you'll need to show proof of vaccinations and deworming and pay a small annual fee. South Wellington, located just over 14 miles west of Nunn, is a residential community with a few outdoor opportunities for you and your pooch. Head over to Viewpoint Park on Reagan Court and walk around the athletic fields to get a little fresh air. If you want to take your furry pal for a walk or jog, check out the trail that goes along the West Side 9 Hole Disc Golf Course. This path stretches from Ronald Reagan Avenue southward to E County Road 60. Dogs are permitted to accompany you in public areas as long as they're under your control and you pick up after them.
